Abstract

the article is devoted to an empirical analysis of the impact of various game scenarios on students' learning motivation, educational consistency, and academic performance. The research is based on a cognitive economic approach that considers learning as a process of choice with limited rationality. As part of an experiment implemented in a digital educational environment, four versions of the course were compared: basic, quest, competitive and cooperative. The data obtained demonstrate a significant increase in motivation and consistency of learning in all gamified conditions compared to the control situation. The effect is particularly strong in the collaboration scenario, where there is a maximum increase in the motivation index and a positive change in the average GPA. The findings reveal the cognitive mechanisms of the impact of game elements and offer recommendations for integrating gamification into online courses.

The axiological aspect of educational practices in the context of digitalization of society

Ignatyeva E.A.

Abstract

the article examines the axiological approach to the organization of the educational process in the context of the digital transformation of society. The necessity of shaping students’ value orientations in the context of a digital educational environment is emphasized. Key axiological components manifested in new forms of learning involving digital technologies are analyzed. The article presents the results of a study reflecting students’ attitudes toward the value aspects of digital learning. Introduction. Modern society is undergoing large-scale changes associated with the digital transformation of all spheres of life, including education. The task of comprehending the axiological foundations of educational practices in the context of digitalization is becoming increasingly relevant, as value orientations determine the meaning and direction of learning and shape students' personal positions in a rapidly changing world. Materials and Methods The study employed the following methods: theoretical analysis of scientific literature on the problems of axiology and digitalization in education; a survey of students from a pedagogical university aimed at identifying their attitudes toward the value aspects of digital learning; and methods of mathematical and statistical data processing. The survey included question blocks aimed at assessing the importance of such values as self-realization, social responsibility, autonomy, ethical digital behavior, and the perception of digital educational technologies in terms of their alignment with students’ personal and professional orientations. Research Results. The results showed that the majority of respondents (72%) recognize the importance of digital competencies for personal and professional development. However, only 45% of students indicated that digital technologies contribute to the development of responsibility and critical thinking. A heterogeneity in the perception of axiological aspects was revealed: some students experience a lack of motivation and a sense of alienation in the context of digital learning. At the same time, 60% of the respondents emphasized the importance of the ethics of digital interaction as a new value category. Discussion and Conclusions. The data obtained indicate the need for the purposeful formation of students' value orientations related to the responsible and conscious use of digital educational resources. The identified contradiction between the instrumental and value functions of digital technologies requires adjustments to pedagogical strategies to strengthen the axiological component of learning. The digital educational environment should not only expand learning opportunities but also contribute to the formation of stable value attitudes among students. Further research is needed to develop effective methodological solutions that ensure the integration of axiological aspects into digital education.

Studying the needs of students in English language teaching at an intermediate level in accordance with the SERVQUAL model - a qualitative study using the example of Chinese international students

Sun Y.

Abstract

with the global spread of English-Medium Instruction (EMI) educational programs, more and more Chinese students are choosing to pursue higher education in non-English-speaking countries through English-language programs. However, the scientific literature has not sufficiently studied the perception and assessment of the quality of educational services by such students in the context of transnational education. The present study, based on a student-centered approach, aims to examine the perceived quality of educational services among Chinese students enrolled in EMI programs in Moscow. The theoretical basis of the study was the SERVQUAL model, which included a thematic analysis of semi-formal interviews with Chinese undergraduates studying at one of the leading universities in Russia. The analysis covers five key aspects of the quality of educational services: material conditions, reliability, responsiveness, confidence (in the professionalism of teachers) and empathy. The data obtained showed that it was aspects such as responsiveness, confidence, and empathy that caused the greatest difficulties and dissatisfaction among students. The paper concludes that insufficient satisfaction of language needs and low institutional responsiveness significantly affect the overall perception of the quality of EMI programs. The results highlight the need to integrate language support and culturally oriented practices into the development and quality assurance of English-language educational programs, especially in a transnational context.

Nomophobia as a phenomenon in modern educational process

Zanina M.A., Sanochkina S.V.

Abstract

the modern world brings a lot of different technologies and devices into our lives, and the smartphone is one of the most popular gadgets used by every person regardless of age. Today it is impossible to imagine a modern person without a phone, as it is a connection with society, a source of information search, and a business assistant. But, the problem is that along with the convenience of using this technology there is a dependence and fear of being deprived of this technology, i.e. nomophobia. This term refers to the fear of being without a cell phone, which is almost impossible in today's world. Students were asked to answer a number of questions on this topic, to try to determine whether they have such dependence and to express their attitude to this problem. The result showed that more than half of the surveyed students will not be able to attend classes without phones and a very small percentage can stay without a phone for no more than a day. The relevance of the paper is to analyze to what extent nomophobia affects modern students and the educational process in general, is it really a problem or is it a tribute to modern society rather than a phobia?

The study focuses on analyzing the impact of various types of media content (news reports, feature films, TV series, social networks, video games, blogs) on adolescents' perception of risks and threats, as well as on their formation of behavioral patterns in potentially dangerous situations. Special attention is paid to identifying both positive and negative aspects of this influence. On the one hand, mass media can act as an effective tool for disseminating information about safety regulations, warnings about dangers, and forming an informed attitude to personal and public safety. On the other hand, uncontrolled consumption of media content, especially those containing violent scenes, destructive behavior, and unreliable information, can lead to distorted perceptions of reality, decreased vigilance, and the formation of risky behavior.

Project activities as a means of developing the creative potential of students of pedagogical universities in China

Ne J.

Abstract

the article examines the role of project activities in developing the creative potential of students at pedagogical universities in China. The aim of the work is to analyze the specific capabilities of project methods for developing creative competencies in future teachers, as well as to review and systematize the practical experience of their implementation in Chinese universities. The main tasks included identifying the creative potential of the project activities, assessing its effectiveness and analyzing existing problems with the definition of a strategy for overcoming them. The study is based on an analysis of the practices of leading pedagogical universities (using the example of Yancheng and East China Universities) that use a variety of project work formats (research, applied, entrepreneurial, social projects), which provides conditions for the differentiated development of professional creativity. The empirical part of the study diagnosed key barriers to the successful implementation of project activities in China, including a lack of interaction with general education institutions, fear of professional failure and a lack of time resources. The practical significance of the work lies in the substantiation of a set of measures to optimize project activities: the formation of sustainable “university-school” partnerships, the introduction of psychological and pedagogical support programs, and the structural adjustment of curricula. The implementation of these approaches will help prepare innovative teachers who are capable of responding to the challenges of modern education.

The role of gamification in developing students' digital competencies through independent work

Son L.P., Ivanova E.V., Pleshchev I.E., Zharkoy A.B., Yalaeva N.V.

Abstract

this article substantiates the need to modernize the independent study of pre-service teachers to develop their digital competencies. It is noted that traditional teaching methods face new challenges, and their effective supplementation can be achieved through the integration of game-based technologies. Gamification, understood as the use of game mechanics in a non-game context, transforms passive learning into an interactive and engaging process. Particular focus is placed on practical forms of gamified independent study, such as educational quests, simulations, project-based tasks in a digital environment, and the creation of multimedia content. This approach has a dual purpose: it not only develops the students' own digital skills but also prepares them to apply these technologies in their future professional activities. As a result, students develop not only practical abilities but also key cognitive skills: information analysis, synthesis of solutions, and critical thinking. The study identifies five key components of digital competence that are developed through this method.

Adaptation of Russian choral conducting methods for Chinese students

Zhang Y.

Abstract

the article examines the issues of adapting Russian approaches to choral conducting for Chinese students, analyzing the difficulties that arise and suggesting ways to solve them. The research was based on a comparative analysis of the features of music education and cultural traditions of the two countries, supplemented by the study of real-world experience in the implementation of methods. The main obstacles for Chinese students were not only language difficulties, but also differences in artistic perception. The difficulties are compounded by the lack of live interaction with choral groups and the need to master an unusual system of conducting techniques. An integrated approach is proposed to overcome the emerging problems. The translation of teaching materials should be accompanied by the inclusion of Chinese choral music samples in the program. Increasing the hours of practice with an emphasis on working out the technical elements will consolidate the skills. An important role is played by the organization of creative meetings with Russian masters, where students will be able to observe the application of techniques in real work with teams. The practical significance of the work lies in the creation of hybrid educational models that promote dialogue between musical cultures. Further research may be aimed at developing adaptive courses that combine Russian pedagogical practices with Chinese performing traditions. This synthesis opens up prospects for mutual enrichment of the repertoire and the formation of new approaches in the international educational space.

Adaptation of Russian piano pedagogy for international students

Yan Z.

Abstract

the article analyzes the modern aspects of adapting the methods of Russian piano pedagogy to work with foreign students, primarily from China. The central place in the study is occupied by the work of Boris Alexandrovich Tchaikovsky, a composer whose contribution to piano literature remains in demand due to the harmonious combination of accessible performance techniques and emotional intensity. These features make his works an effective material for overcoming cultural and pedagogical barriers. The traditional Russian school emphasizes the development of technical skills, artistic expression and creative individuality. However, when working with Chinese students, difficulties arise due to differences in the language environment and musical perception, which makes it difficult to master the techniques and interpretation of works of Russian classics. To solve these problems, the author suggests actively implementing digital solutions presented by adaptive online platforms and educational videos with visualization of game techniques. Using the example of the work with the cycle "Eight Children's Plays", it is shown how the translation of methodological materials into Chinese, the use of video analysis of performance and step-by-step tasks help students to master the technical nuances. The online feedback system through digital channels further improves educational outcomes, allowing you to adjust the learning process in real time. Such innovations significantly increase student engagement, opening up new opportunities for preserving the legacy of the Russian school in the context of the transformation of modern education.

Implementation of the concept of holistic fitness in the system of physical education of students: on the example of Eastern health practices

Kabysheva M.I., Voronin I.S., Davudov T.S., Novoseltsev O.N., Ostapushchenko D.I.

Abstract

the article considers a holistic approach to students' health, which is not limited to physical training only, but is aimed at creating harmony between the body, mind and emotions. The relevance of the study is due to the insufficient development of ways to implement a holistic approach in the pedagogical and practical aspects of higher education. The authors propose organizational and pedagogical conditions for applying the concept of holistic fitness in the educational environment of a medical university based on physical education classes. The results of the study indicate that students have a pronounced interest and motivation to master modern Eastern holistic systems of physical exercises. At the same time, an uneven distribution of knowledge was revealed, manifested in an insufficient level of students' awareness of the methodology for organizing classes according to these systems, which requires further study and analysis. The conducted study allows us to enrich the scientific provisions of holistic fitness and stimulate the emergence of new approaches to the formation of a holistic understanding of professional health, which will allow each specialist to more effectively perform their work duties and maintain a high quality of life. The research materials can be used by university teachers in various fields of training to draw up programs or special courses in elective physical education courses.

Strokes to the psychological and pedagogical portrait of foreign cadets of the Russian military university

Kulakov A.A.

Abstract

interest in Russian military education has not faded in the world for many decades. According to the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in recent years 83 foreign countries have sent their citizens to study at Russian military universities, and the total number of foreign cadets has exceeded 10,000 people. The author of the article focuses on cadets from countries of Africa, Southeast and West (Anterior) Asia, belonging to various ethnic groups, subethnic groups, communities, cultures and confessions, who have chosen the military profession as the main vector of personal self-realization. The educational process of a military university should be aimed at developing a military-professional identity in cadets, the value constants of which, regardless of historical time, ethnicity and religious affiliation, are the mode of service (E. Fromm's term), spiritual, moral and psychological qualities of the individual, ideas about honor, loyalty to military and civic duty, courage, fortitude, responsibility, discipline, etc. Military-professional identity determines the direction and intensity of adaptation and cognitive practices, as well as the individual's readiness for volitional self-regulation and overcoming external and internal obstacles on the path to professional development. The article characterizes the socio-cultural and psychological characteristics of foreign cadets and substantiates the educational strategy, the priorities of which are the value guidelines of the army as a social institution.

Development of value-semantic literacy of students in artistic and figurative activity, methodological and pedagogical foundations

Melnikova E.P.

Abstract

the aim of the study is to substantiate the methodological and pedagogical foundations for the development of value-semantic literacy (VSL) in students through artistic and figurative activity. In this work, VSL is interpreted as the mastery of a system of sequentially formed actions of semantic activity: value problematization, semantic expression, interpretation, value-based self-determination, and reflection. The main objectives include the development of a pedagogical model of VSL, the design of a technology for semantic expression in modal forms (word, sound, image), and the creation of a level-based assessment system for the formation of the corresponding actions. The methodological basis of the research includes the ideas of the cultural-historical approach (L.S. Vygotsky), the theory of visual thinking (R. Arnheim), the concept of extended mind (A. Clark, D. Chalmers), and the activity-based approach to functional literacy (A.V. Khutorskoy). Special attention is paid to the logic of exteriorization as a principle of transition from internal comprehension to external semantic action. The results of the study can be applied in the practice of arts and humanities education to design meaning-oriented educational formats aimed at developing students’ subjectivity and overcoming semantic disorientation.

Identification of a tendency to extremism in students with different degrees of suggestibility in the aspect of pedagogical prevention of extremist manifestations

Osipova E.V.

Abstract

the article analyzes the importance and necessity of identifying indicators of a tendency to extremism in students with different degrees of suggestibility in the aspect of pedagogical prevention of extremist manifestations of students in the educational environment of the university. The assessment of the tendency to extremism in university students with different degrees of suggestibility was carried out using the following diagnostic tools: "Test for determining the degree of suggestibility", authors S.V. Klauchek and V.V. Delaryu modified by E. Merzlyakova, "Screening method for diagnosing a tendency to extremism", authors R.V. Kadyrov, T.V. Kapustina, E.V. Sadon, A.S. Elsesser. A comparative analysis of the tendency to extremism among students with different degrees of suggestibility was carried out using the Kruskal-Wallace H criterion. The obtained data allowed us to state that among the students studied, grouped by the degree of suggestibility (high, medium, low), there are significant differences in the formation of a tendency to extremism (H=34.323, p <0.01): the higher the degree of suggestibility, the more pronounced the student's tendency to extremist views and behavior patterns. At the same time, students with a low level of suggestibility, who have a stable system of values and developed critical thinking, are less susceptible to extremist ideas. This trend actualizes the task of early prevention: educational programs should not only form professional competencies, but also form critical thinking in students, the ability to resist manipulation, and the skills of independent analysis of information.
