Abstract
the presented scientific article provides a comprehensive study of the methodological foundations for teaching Chinese art songs (????) with piano accompaniment in the context of higher music education. The work combines historical-musicological, theoretical-methodological, and practice-oriented approaches to exploring this subject. In the first stage of the research, the author conducts a detailed historical and stylistic analysis of the formation and development of the genre, tracing its evolution from the earliest examples of the early 20th century (the works of Huang Zi, Zhao Yuanren) to contemporary compositions. Special attention is paid to characteristic stylistic features, including the synthesis of traditional Chinese pentatonic scales and European harmonic systems; the unique interplay between vocal parts and piano textures; the distinctive interpretation of Chinese poetry in a musical context. The central focus of the study is the development of an innovative teaching methodology, encompassing technical aspects; artistic and interpretative aspects. The theoretical significance of the research lies in the systematization of knowledge about Chinese academic vocal art, while its practical value stems from the formulation of specific methodological recommendations, which have been successfully tested in the educational processes of leading music universities in China and Russia. The findings of the study are of interest to vocal instructors, accompanists, music university students, as well as specialists in comparative musicology and cross-cultural musical interactions.
