Results of initial diagnostics of professionally significant personal qualities of secondary education students in the framework of contextual learning

Babakina E.P.

Abstract

the aim of the study is to conduct an initial diagnosis of professionally significant personal qualities of secondary vocational education students studying in engineering fields, taking into account the context of professional tasks. The article specifies internal and external factors that allow the formation of the above qualities, as well as the characteristics of educational institutions - colleges. The internal factor is based, first of all, on the personality of the future specialist, values, motivation. The external factor changes due to the challenges of the modern economy, new conditions of the labor market. A feature of secondary vocational education is the possibility of rapid training, which is an undoubted advantage of this level of education. However, in this case, a contradiction arises, consisting in the fact that there is a need to balance between the practice and the theoretical part of training. In addition, the author carried out experimental work on the basis of Biysk State College and Biysk Industrial and Technological College. Two groups participated in the pedagogical experiment - control (n = 378 people) and experimental (n = 410 people). The pedagogical experiment revealed an insufficient level of formation of professionally significant personal qualities of engineering specialists according to three criteria: value, personality-oriented, reflexive. The practical significance of this work lies in the actualization of the problematic linked to the humanitarian component of modern engineering education.

About science, craft and art in education

Gagaev P.A.

Abstract

the article raises the question of the nature of pedagogy – pedagogy as an art, as a craft and as a science. The content of the first, second and third is deployed in reality as the basic ones for it. The article substantiates the position about the interaction of the teacher and the pupil as a kind of aesthetic-metaphysical – contemplative - reality (the idea goes back to the works of ancient philosophers and thinkers of the Christian Middle Ages). The human personality is interpreted as an aesthetic-metaphysical substance, which in its formation and development requires relying on the reality of the perfect (authentic or beautiful, in Plato's style) in addressing itself. Taking into account what is formulated in education and turns it primarily into art (figurative and artistic creativity of metaphysical status). The appeal to the personality in education on a outlined basis has a beneficial effect on its development. The article states the appeal of secular (European) pedagogy (since the Enlightenment) to the axiom-epistemology of science, and in its one-sided interpretation (orientation to rationalization of social processes as a condition for their effectiveness). The critique of the modern domestic school is given due to its total focus on the rationalization and pragmatization of the processes of education and training (strict goal setting, standardization of the content of education, certification in the USE format, educational competencies, the beginning of competition, constraint of professional freedom of the teacher, etc.). The general inattention of the school to the genuine in the student's personality (its metaphysics) is fixed. It is argued that the above displaces people with a talent for pedagogical activity from school. It is proposed to radically change the direction of the school's activities – in the direction of its appeal to the student's personality on an aesthetic-metaphysical (contemplative) basis. The methodology of the work is the idealistic–substrate reflection of A.A. Gagaev.

Gromov Y.V., Shangin A.B.

Abstract

in the USSR from 1966 to 1991, a great deal of experience was accumulated in using philately means in high schools. It is well known that philately means can actively influence the education of the younger generation in love for the Motherland, patriotism, the desire to study monuments, material culture, political and historical events, art, and nature. The use of philately and philumeny in the educational process of schools and extracurricular activities is currently episodic. Abroad, philately is actively used in the educational process of schools and universities, scientific research is conducted using postage stamps in various fields of science. Postage stamps of the Russian Federation have great educational potential and should be used more widely in senior grades of schools. Souvenir sets of matchboxes, matchbox labels, club matchbox labels are industrial graphics. We propose using philatelic and philumeny material as a didactic tool in senior grades of schools.

Eferova A.R., Khorokhorina G.A., Varfolomeeva N.S., Klyueva E.V., Alekseeva M.N.

Abstract

this text discusses the pedagogical strategies for fostering critical thinking and its significance for students' future professional lives. Critical thinking encompassing skills such as analysis, logical reasoning, creativity, and open-mindedness has become essential in modern education. Active learning strategies, including group discussions, debates, problem-solving, and the Socratic method, are highlighted as effective ways to cultivate these skills. Collaborative learning and technology integration also play crucial roles, allowing students to engage with diverse perspectives, practice self-reflection, and analyze information. Furthermore, critical thinking prepares students for adaptability in dynamic workplaces, enhances decision-making, and improves communication skills. For leadership and management roles, it strengthens the ability to motivate teams, handle conflicts, and strategize effectively. Despite its advantages, developing critical thinking faces challenges like traditional pedagogy, limited resources, and difficulties in assessment. To overcome these, institutions can invest in professional development for educators, curriculum reform, and resources for digital and interactive tools. By prioritizing critical thinking, educational institutions equip students with essential skills for navigating complex professional environments and contributing meaningfully to their careers and society.

Intercultural communication as a tool for developing global competencies in students in a multinational educational environment

Lesev V.N.

Abstract

in the context of a modern multinational society, the issue of effective interaction between representatives of different cultures is of particular importance, which is especially relevant for the educational environment. Here, in the process of education and professional training, teachers and students inevitably encounter language and cultural differences, which often become a serious obstacle to successful cooperation and understanding. The conducted research is focused on the study and identification of key communication barriers that students encounter within the framework of international projects, as well as on the development of effective methods for overcoming them. The main goal of the work is to create conditions that would facilitate not only integration, but also full-fledged interaction in the educational environment. To achieve the set objectives, an integrated methodological approach was used, involving a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods. The work used such tools as questionnaires, interviews and detailed analysis of specific cases, which made it possible to deeply study the strategies and perceptions of students representing different cultural groups. According to the results of the analysis, the most significant obstacles to effective educational integration were language barriers and stereotypical ideas that affect interpersonal communication. However, it is important to note that students who are actively involved in intercultural interactions demonstrate a high degree of adaptation and achieve more successful results in learning. This was made possible by using the adaptive strategies proposed in the study. Within the framework of this work, a system of methodological approaches was proposed aimed at the formation and assessment of key substantive and competence elements of the educational process. The experiment conducted at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after H. M. Berbekov made it possible to focus on the study of the processes of structuring intercultural interaction associated with the development of global competencies in foreign students. The main attention was paid to the analysis of the collected data, the result of which was their thorough systematization. Based on the materials obtained, conclusions were formulated reflecting the features of intercultural communication in the educational environment and identifying the most effective strategies for its implementation. The content of the article makes a significant contribution to the development of theoretical concepts devoted to intercultural interactions within educational projects. Of particular importance are the conclusions concerning the influence of cultural differences on educational activities and the integration process of students representing different countries and traditions.

Peculiarities of memorizing Russian color names through associative techniques in Chinese learners

Nosova M.B.

Abstract

the article focuses on the specific features of memorizing 12 Russian color names using associative prompts in educational practice for a Chinese audience. It provides a detailed description of the main stages involved in developing the methodology: collecting empirical data in the form of associations in the Chinese language related to colors; encoding Russian color names based on their phonetic similarity to the Chinese associations; translating the associations and visualizing them as educational materials; introducing Russian color names alongside their associations in various formats; and designing a comprehensive set of exercises. The uniqueness of the proposed methodology lies in its consideration of the psychology of modern students, their cognitive styles, and specific attention-related features, such as rapid shifts in focus. The approach’s effectiveness is enhanced by its cultural adaptation: the empirical data were gathered from respondents belonging to the same demographic group as the learners. Furthermore, the methodology accounts for individual differences in perception types. To this end, a set of exercises has been developed that engages all sensory channels–visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. The exercises are based on the principles of recognition, comprehension, and practical application of Russian color names in textual, auditory, and visual formats, integrating all forms of language activity.

Psychological and pedagogical foundations of color and musical perception of preschoolers

Farkhutdinova S.G., Kozlova A.A.

Abstract

this paper summarizes the results of scientific research on the development of color and musical perception in preschool children through the synthesis of musical and artistic education. The research is based on the use of the neurological phenomenon of synesthesia - the ability to experience sensory sensations of one type as sensations of another type. In this context, synesthesia manifests itself in the association of sounds with certain color palettes. An analysis of the existing literature on the psychology of perception, music pedagogy and neuropsychology was carried out. In addition to the literature analysis, the study included empirical studies involving a group of preschoolers. Diagnoses included various activities, such as listening to musical compositions and choosing an associated color as well as emotional coloring of proposed personality characteristics. An interesting observation was that the associations between color and music in children are individual and do not always coincide with generally accepted ideas. For example, the same piece of music evokes different color associations in different children, which confirms the subjective nature of synesthetic sensations. The data obtained confirms the hypothesis that purposeful development of color and musical perception in the educational process contributes to a deeper understanding of music and the development of preschoolers' creative potential.

The importance of spiritual and moral education in the family at the present stage of society development

Dosigov A.S.

Abstract

the article examines the role of the family in the formation of a child's personality. The relevance of the topic is due to the change in value orientations in society, the weakening of the educational role of the family in shaping the spiritual morality of the younger generation and the need to find ways to restore it. The danger of spreading a "perverted" ideology in modern society is shown. Historically, the new always develops from the already accumulated experience. Thus, the work presents the legacy of advanced teachers and the view of the "holy" fathers on family education; the great importance of the family "environment" in the process of the formation of a child's personality is revealed. The role of parents in shaping the inner world of children is determined. It is pointed out the need for moral improvement of parents for more effective pedagogical influence, which, ultimately, will lead to the spiritual growth of the whole family. The tasks of upbringing are considered and the main directions of practical work on the revival of spiritual and moral values in the family are determined.
