The article presents some aspects of training a future teacher-speech therapist for project activities. The author considers the basic concepts of the study, the parameters of assessing readiness of a future teacher-speech therapist to project activities and its levels.


Principles of selecting topics for professional communication classes for students of advertising and public relations

The article presents the authors' idea of selecting topics for German classes for undergraduate students majoring in Advertising and Public Relations at Moscow State Linguistic University. Professional communication is not limited to communication between people working in the same professional sphere. Therefore students should be taught to communicate fluently with representatives of various professions. The article proves the necessity of extending the set of training topics beyond the scope of restricted professional aspects.


The role of educational situation centres in developing professional skills among students

The article considers some issues regarding the development of professional skills and competences among students of social and political sciences at Moscow State Linguistic University. Special attention is paid to the description of training sessions at the University educational situation centres. These sessions are aimed at mastering the techniques of sociological, political and psychological analysis and developing skills of situational problem solving.


Scientific and methodological approach to career guidance assisted by university students

The article presents a description of the events used in career guidance. A psychological and educational background of the applied methods and ways is provided. The authors study the role of university students in the preparation and holding meetings with school students, in the arrangement of thematic events with discussion elements and demonstration of experiments, in the assisting of subject olympiads for secondary and high school students.


Modular learning as a basis of efficient academic performance of school students at chemistry classes

The modular learning aims at building up a consistent study content as well as an integration of various types and forms of self-study work. The results of a pedagogic experiment carried out by the authors show that the use of modular learning at chemistry classes at secondary school increases the efficiency of teaching.

The article is devoted to psychological and educational problems of children and adolescents living in dysfunctional families. The authors provide the results of summative, formative and control assessments of children living in welfare shelters. The assessments show the effectiveness of hippotherapy (therapeutic horse riding) in socio-psychological rehabilitation of children and adolescents from dysfunctional families.
