Author Guidelines

Articles are submitted online via the electronic system of the journal (Online Editorial Board). Authors are requested to register in the system.

When registering, the author should pay attention to the correct and complete filling in of all mandatory registration forms.

After registration in the electronic system of the journal, a personal profile of the author is automatically created, through which the author need to submit the article.

Correspondence between the author and the editorial board is carried out only via the electronic system of the journal (Online Editorial Board).

Before submitting the article, authors are requested to check their article's compliance with the requirements of the journal. Low quality of the article materials can result in an increase in the peer review time. The article cannot be given for peer review for non-compliance with the journal formatting requirements.

We advise you to prepare your manuscript using our Template.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MANUSCRIPT

1. The journal accepts original scientific articles in Russian and English. They should correspond to the profile of the journal and reflect results of original scientific research of the authors. The article should include at least 4 pages for technical sciences and 5 pages for natural sciences and humanities. Submission to the editorial office of already published articles or articles sent for publication to other journals is not allowed. In the event of simultaneous submission of a manuscript to different journals, the published article will be retracted (withdrawn from print). Monitoring of unauthorized citation is implemented using Antiplagiat and Ithenticate systems. In case of detection of multiple borrowings, the editors act in accordance with the COPE rules.

2. Particular attention should be paid to the quality of translation. The translation should preferably be done by a native English speaker.

3. The article format should be: font style – Times New Roman; font size 12 for the text, references, formulas, pages; font size 11 for pictures, tables, diagrams, footnotes. Line spacing 1,5. All margins 20 mm. Justified alignment. No syllabification. Tables, figures, and charts must not extend beyond the page margins. Table titles and numbers should be placed above the table, in plain text. Footnotes should be placed at the bottom of the same page (page-by-page).

4. The title of the article should briefly (no more than 10 words) and accurately reflect the content of the article, the subject matter and the results of the research conducted. It should combine informativeness with appeal, showcasing the uniqueness of the author's scholarly work.

5. The abstract performs the function of the expanded title of the article and tells about its content. It should include the following sections:

 • Introduction. This section formulates a problem and purpose of the article.

 • Materials and Methods. This section provides details on the research subject and the sequence of the study's procedures.

 • Results. This section presents the specific research findings.

 • Discussion and Conclusions. The results are to be summarized; the main directions for further research are indicated in this area.

The sections of the abstract should be highlighted with the appropriate subheadings. The relevant information should be presented in these sections. The recommended abstract volume is 100–150 words

6. Keywords are the search terms of a scientific article. All bibliographic databases can search for articles by keywords. In this regard, the keywords should reflect the main statements, achievements, results, terminology of scientific research. The recommended number of keywords is 5–10.

7. Funding. This section should specify the source of funding (e.g., foundation/organization, grant, etc.).

8. Acknowledgments. This section should mention individuals who 1) contributed to the research and manuscript preparation but do not meet the authorship criteria; 2) provided support for the study in any capacity. Authors must notify and obtain consent from any person they wish to acknowledge.

9. The main text of the article is presented in a specific sequence:

 • Introduction.

 • Materials and Methods.

 • Results.

 • Discussion and Conclusions.

10. References. Bibliographic entries must be formatted according to the Vancouver citation style. References should primarily cite original sources from scientific journals indexed in global citation databases. A minimum of 10 sources is recommended, with at least half of them published within the last 3 years. It is crucial to format each reference correctly. Entries should include authors' last names, journal title (and URL for online sources), year of publication, volume (issue), number, pages, and DOI or stable web address. The goal is to enable an interested reader to locate the cited literature with minimal effort. The list is compiled in the order of citation within the text.

13. Information about conflicts of interest. The article should indicate a real or potential conflict of interest. If there is no conflict of interests, then author (or authors) should write that “The author declares no conflict of interest / The authors declare no conflict of interest”.

14. Formatting of Article Structural Elements.

Tables. Each table must be placed immediately after the paragraph in which it is first referenced. Tables should contain no empty cells. Table numbering uses Arabic numerals and is separate from figure numbering. The title is placed above the table. Use one or more asterisks (*) for notes within tables. Corresponding explanations are placed directly below the table after the same number of asterisks (*). Units of measurement, if necessary, should be included in row or column headers.

Figures. Figures must be provided in raster or vector format with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. They must allow for text editing and resizing. The use of scanned images for graphs, charts, diagrams, etc., is discouraged and must be justified if used. All graphical data must be embedded within the manuscript text and also submitted as separate files. In the text, figure titles (for graphs, photographs) must be placed immediately after the paragraph where they are first referenced. All figures are numbered sequentially with Arabic numerals in the order they appear in the text. The caption is placed below the figure. Figure captions should be concise yet informative. Fonts within figures must be from the Times New Roman family, at a size that ensures legibility. Text in the Roman alphabet should be italicized. Figures in the article must match the submitted original source files. Diverse illustrations should be stylistically consistent and uniform in presentation. Charts and diagrams should be created in Microsoft Excel. If an electronic graphic is created in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio), Corel Draw, or Adobe Illustrator, it should be submitted in its original editable format (e.g., .doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx, .vsd, .vsdx, .cdr, .ai, .eps). Charts and graphs within these files must remain editable.

If a figure (table, photograph) has been previously published elsewhere (including your own work), the original source must be cited, and written permission for reproduction must be obtained from the copyright holder, except for documents in the public domain.

Formulas. Formulas should be typeset using a combination of the main text font and the Symbol font (except for fractions, summation, and square root symbols) in MathType 6. Scanned formulas or formulas presented as images are not acceptable. Latin symbols within formulas and notations (both in the text and in figures) must be italicized. Formulas are numbered with round brackets. Number only those formulas and equations that are referenced later in the text. Numbered formulas must be centered, with the formula number in parentheses aligned to the right margin. The manuscript should not be overloaded with complex formulas. Necessary derivations should be concise and understandable to the reader.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with each of the following items, and submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines may be returned to the authors.

  • Bibliography Formatting Guidelines

The journal uses Vancouver Citation Style (reference in brackets in the text, full bibliographic description of the source in the list of references in the order of mention in the text of the article).

It is necessary to refer first of all to the original sources from scientific journals included in the global citation indices. It is necessary to correctly register the link to the source. The authors' names, journal (email address), year of publication, volume (issue), number, pages, DOI or URL should be indicated.

A reader should be able to find the specified literary source as soon as possible. References to accepted for publication, but not yet published articles should be marked with the words "in press"; authors must obtain written permission to reference such documents and to confirm that they have been accepted for publication. Information from unpublished sources should be marked with the words “unpublished data / documents”; authors should also receive written confirmation of the use of such materials.
