THE CORRESPONDENCE OF BASIC EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM OF BACHELOR’S PREPARATION ON PROFILE “PRIMARY EDUCATION” TO PROFESSIONAL STANDARD OF A TEACHER: ANALYSIS OF PRINCIPLES AND CONTENT

Abstract

The principles reflecting priorities in educational material selection and revealing the ways of achievement of aims of education on training direction “Pedagogic Education”, profile “Primary Education” are analyzed. The accordance to higher educational institution preparation of a teacher, structure of his professional competences, fundamentality of pedagogical preparation basing on psychological knowledge, entirety of pedagogical preparation, coherence of objective-methodological knowledge, practical direction of pedagogical preparation, formation of professional subjective position of the future teacher are studied. The analysis of correspondence of work functions, declared in professional standard of a teacher is made. Competences formed according to Learning standard of higher education in the process of study of block of disciplines of educational plan (“Basic”, “Psychological-pedagogical”, “Objective-methodological” and “Practice”) of basic educational program on profile “Primary Education” are considered. The analysis of accordance to basic educational program of preparation on profile “Primary Education” (applied baccalaureate - two types of professional activity) professional standard of a teacher, the connection of work actions, skills, knowledge of professional standard with the formed competences of future bachelors’ preparation on this profile is shown.

PROJECTION OF INDIVIDUAL STYLE DEVELOPMENT TECHNOLOGY OF PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITY OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION LECTURER

Abstract

The specifics of individual style technology development projection of professional-pedagogical activity of higher educational institution lecutrer is founded. The correspondence of the notions “development” and “formation” is considered. The necessity to use the term “forming development” for realization of the projected technology is founded. It is proved that the necessary effect is reached not by the influence, but by the synergism of interaction between the lecturer and the helping teacher, who creates the conditions for the lecturer to be included in the dynamic activity to achieve the aim. The basic aim of external forming influence is in the transferal of the lecturer and his/her individual style of pedagogical activity in stable regime of self-regulated development of intentive type, connected with effective use of internal resources and the possibilities of environment. The choice of this strategy supposes the appliance to reflexion and self-regulation of the teacher as implementaiton of autonomous personal choice basing on integration of freedom and responsibility and taking new value orientations. The technology of the forming influence is considered from the point of view of synergism as an interaction of two self-organizing systems - “forming, influencing helper” and “changing” (lecturer, post-graduate student), and the higher the efficiency of the projected technology, the more informational interaction of these self-regulating systems is. The process of regulating of each of these systems is implemented due to informational interaction of participants, because each of these systems is the source of organization of the activity and behaviour. The aims and the content of three stages of technology of development of individual style of pedagogical activity of higher educational institution lecturer: analytical-reflexive, constructive-correction and evaluative-stabilizing. Analytical-reflexive stage gives the possibility not only to define the peculiarities of individuality of the lecturer and his real individual style of pedagogical activity, but it promotes the analysis of the existing interaction of the subjects of educational process in the institute. Constructive-correctional forming influence creates the conditions for transmission of individual style of pedagogical activity of the lecturer in unstable state and promotes the choice of the trajectory of further self-regulated development. The implementation of evaluative-stabilizing stage let provide the stable predominance of the urge at lecturer to the fuller use of external and internal possibilities at the change of individual style of pedagogical activity at bifurcate stage of self-regulated development.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONDITIONS OF MULTILEVEL PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION IN TECHNICAL HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH HEALTH DISABILITIES

Abstract

The relevant problem of engineering training of students with disabilities in the system of multilevel education in technical university is considered. It is shown that one of the purposes of obtaining professional engineering education among students with disabilities at each level of learning is the willingness to generate ideas, to develop and implement the products of research and design activities as an educational result. The main features of the multilevel system of the university are considered. They are to respond to the expanding educational needs of the individual and society. The complex of organizational environment in order to effectively manage the education system of multilevel professional training of students with disability is primarily productive actions of the head of the institution, providing management and adjustment of activities of the heads of organizational structures (economic and financial, logistical, personnel), teachers and students, as well as the formation of effective internal educational, social and cultural environment is examined. An important point in engineering training of students is to determine the content of programs of additional professional education of the university, which is based on introducing and teaching students new professional activities required for the rapidly changing areas of science, engineering and technology. The integration of education, science and production is also considered as an organizational condition, as the students’ studied are based on innovative platforms of the university in the implementation of educational projects. A special place in the educational system of the technical university is the organization of business schools, characterized by active introduction of innovative techniques and methods of training (business trainings, master classes, role-playing a situation, business games), presenting the organizational conditions for the implementation of effective educational technologies. Creation of equal opportunities for obtaining in-demand engineering professions in the system of multilevel professional education of technical university is considered as the most important organizational condition for students with disabilities.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL SERVICES USE IN THE CONDITIONS OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The modern stage of the development of society is characterized by global informatization, which gradually changes people’s comprehension of reality and their approach to the environment. New technologies make life easier for people, and the organization of training is more interesting. Social services are a popular means of communication among people in the context of informatization of life. A new information and communication educational environment can change traditional views on the education system through new methods, forms and means of work using these services. Some of the problems and prerequisites for the introduction of the information and communication educational environment, as well as the possibilities of the information and communication educational environment (social services) to ensure the personal development of students is substantiated. The most popular and frequently used social services are analyzed: social networks, multimedia data exchange services, document exchange services, real-time communication services, collaboration services, blogging and microblogging services. Organization of training with the help of new “tools” will enrich the educational process, making it more simple and familiar for students. And the created conditions for personal development will be aimed at satisfaction of educational needs, interests and their personal characteristics.

STRUCTURE OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION LECTURER’S INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION COMPETENCE

Abstract

The introduction of new professional standards made the integration of information and communication technologies into teaching and learning the priority of the modernization of Russian education. The Russian and foreign regulation documents including professional standards for different education levels and it is concluded that information-communication (IC) competence of higher educational institution lecturer are analysed. They have a three-level structure which reflects the information and communication technology (ICT) competence of a teacher in a related subject area. The information-communication (IC) competence of higher educational institution lecturer is considered to be an essential professional characteristic encouraging the use of ICT to solve a wide range of pedagogical tasks and to model and design the instruction as well as to enable learners to use ICT in their professional sphere. Professional development courses are said to contribute to the development of digital literacies of the information-communication (IC) competence of higher educational institution lecturer. Not with standing a wide spectrum of professional development courses and programmes available on the educational market now, there is a number of objective factors which make the development of the information-communication (IC) competence less effective. Lack of continuous support and counseling in between the courses is one of the factors. It is suggested that one of the solutions is to use digital technologies which have a great didactic potential in this regard.

THE COMPETENCE APPROACH IN TEACHING FOREIGN MILITARY DISCOURSE

Abstract

In modern domestic pedagogy a fairly large number of different approaches, which underlie the educational process in higher education institutions, are employed. Among them there are already well-known and established ones (systemic, activity-oriented, personality-oriented, culturological, axiological), and the new ones that have entered the scientific revolution relatively recently (situational, poli-paradigmatic, informational, competence, contextual, ergonomic, etc.). These also include the competence approach. A definition is introduced and the role of competence as a basic category of the competence approach in teaching foreign military discourse is explained. The need for a systematic and integrated implementation of the competence approach in teaching foreign military discourse is explained. The development of qualification requirements for military professional training is determined as the main form of implementation of the competence approach in teaching foreign military discourse. On the basis of the tasks faced by specialists in this field the requirements for military-professional competencies are added, complementing the general competencies listed in GEF. Specialized-professional competencies are given classifications, separate domains of knowledge and skills are developed and discussed in this framework. A conclusion on the great potential of applying the competence approach in teaching foreign military discourse is made.

THE BASIC PROBLEMS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING OF AGRARIAN INSTITUTES OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND WAYS OF THEIR DECISION BY MEANS OF PODCASTS

Abstract

The problem of foreign language teaching of students of agricultural universities is considered. Currently, the graduate should not only have professional skills, be highly qualified in a specific area, but also to be a bearer of media professional culture. Modern society needs specialists in many fields. The importance and advantages of learning foreign languages by students of agricultural universities are discussed. The main problems of foreign language teaching of students of agricultural schools: a small number of classroom hours, low motivation, lack of organization of independent activities of students, the low language training, lack of training and methodological support are described. The definition of educational podcast, and a podcast of the teacher, the principal terms of the use of this technology, the main advantages and disadvantages, stages of creation and placement are presented. As a conclusion the ways of solving the main problems of foreign language teaching of students of agricultural universities through educational podcasts are revealed. The main advantages of the podcast include: the possibility of using both in classroom and in extracurricular (independent) work on the study of a foreign language, the activation and development of oral and written speech activity, the development of reading skills and proper pronunciation (when listening to an authentic podcast) As a conclusion the ways of basic problems of foreign language teaching decision of agrarian institutes of higher education by means of educational podcasts.

METHODICAL FUNCTIONS OF VIDEO-PODCASTS IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract

At the present stage of the development of the information society, the issues of the informatization of education acquire special significance. Every day more and more new information and communication technologies are being implemented in various spheres of human activity, including education. One such technology is video podcast, which the is described as a video file of a short length, recorded by teachers or professionally created, and distributed in digital format on the Internet. The main types of video podcasts and their classification in accordance with a number of parameters are reviewed: content orientation, segmentation, teaching methods and academic focus of the learning process. The factors that determine the advantages of using video podcasts in teaching a foreign language are cited. These include: the relevance of using video podcasts, the attitude of students to the use of video podcasts, the impact of using video podcasts on the process and the result of teaching. The didactic properties of video podcasts and their methodological functions are described. Didactic properties include: uploading to the video podcasts service in the Internet; the possibility of creating your own group in the social network “VKontakte” for posting podcasts and moderation; the ability to post and delete comments by users. These didactic properties have corresponding methodological functions: recording students video podcasts for educational purposes in a foreign language; creation of own group in a social network for posting video podcasts and their group discussion; moderation of the group in accordance with the preferences of students; individual work while creating and posting video podcasts and discussing them; limited availability of video podcasts for authorized group members.

THE CONTENT-TECHNOLOGICAL SUPPORT FOR THE PROCESS OF FORMING THE INFORMATION COMPETENCE OF A SOCIAL WORKER IN THE UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The analysis of the educational and methodical support of the training direction “Social Work” made it possible to determine the relevance of the development of content-technological support for the process of forming the information competence of a social worker in a university using computer technology. The developed complex of disciplines of the variable block of formation of information competence was realized and divided into three stages: adaptive-setting, reproductive-activity and professionally-oriented stage. The implementation of the adaptive-setting phase is characterized by the formation in students of the simplest skills of searching and selecting information using a personal computer and its software, orienting future social workers to active information activities in solving learning problems. Reproductive activity stage involves more in-depth and systematic work with information, use of Internet resources, search systems, specialized computer programs for the analysis of statistical data, the formation of cognitive and applied activity when working with information in solving educational, research and professional tasks. Professional-oriented stage is the closest to the professional work of a social worker. Students acquire skills of working with information in information systems through interagency electronic interaction: the portal of state services “Electronic employer”, etc. They get acquainted with specialized software of social services, develop skills of design and research activity.

MOTIVATIONAL ASPECTS OF PROFESSIONAL-APPLIED PHYSICAL TRAINING OF CADETS

Abstract

The research urgency is caused by necessity of the profiling of physical training of the cadet to their further admission in higher military educational institutions, which makes mandatory the establishment of a special variety of their physical activity - professionally-applied physical culture. The aim is to study the attitude to physical education and sports, healthy, and cadets with violations of the arch of the foot. The main research method was a survey developed as the questionnaires. It is proved that the cadets that do not have violations of the arch of the foot more often and in greater volume deal with professionally-applied physical training and sports. While these exercises cause them to have less discomfort than their peers with disorders of the arch of the foot. Healthy cadets primarily made choice by themselves in favor of additional physical training, while cadets having pathology of the locomotion apparatus, less likely to attend sports clubs, and they are basically brought there by friends or parents. For cadets with disorders of the arch of the foot it is heavier to have any physical activity in general and practicing drill and professionally-applied physical training.

THE PECULIARITIES OF RESISTANCE EXERCISES AT TRAINING DEVICES

Abstract

The way of the nature of force variation definition with the growth of external weight at performing local exercises at training devices for different groups of muscles in the process of physical education of students within the framework of educational-training lessons is considered. Every person wants to become stronger but the development of force is not a goal in itself. It is a tendency to health. In everyday life activity young people are not able to overcome difficulties, connected with display of maximum force stress, as in the system of physical education of students’ youth the exercises with intensive dosed weight are not used. It is known that the process of performing physical actions goes more successfully if the student has strong, enduring muscles, flexible body, highly-developed abilities to control themselves, their movements. The basic tools of athletic gymnastics are muscle-building exercises with external resistance (weight). They are exercises with barbell and dumbbells. Training devices are the most secure and they provide load on special groups of muscles. However, free weight gives more abilities for movements and let include almost all muscles in work. For example, lifting barbell we involve the most part of all muscles of the body, which provide not only lifting of weight but also keeping balance. That is why training devices are really affective only in combination with barbell, dumbbells and block devices. Athletic gymnastics may and must be addiction to other types of physical activity - track-and-field athletics, swimming, sport games, wrestling and etc. The experimental data, which let identify individual and typological peculiarities of force with the increase of external weight are taken.

IMPACT CONTROLS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE NETWORK OF LIBRARIES OF THE TAMBOV PROVINCE IN THE EARLY YEARS OF SOVIET POWER

Abstract

A description of the network of libraries’ development in the Tambov province in the first years of Soviet power is presented. The analysis of the Soviet government authorities’ activities, aimed at the reorganization of librarianship is made. It is noted that the most pressing issue of library construction in the Tambov province was the creation of a network of public libraries, designed to become agents of the Communist Party’s policy. After the revolutionary events of 1917 librarianship is becoming an important element of cultural development. State management bodies created library science for the first time in Russian history, public library network is formed, corresponding to the administrative-territorial division of the country, put under state control libraries of other departments. The species composition of the libraries in Tambov province is transformed: the commercial public, church, private libraries that existed before the revolution of 1917 were nationalized. In the province of the state library network includes a central provincial library, the creation of which was an entirely new phenomenon in the organization of library services in Tambov province, since pre-revolutionary (zemstvo) projects of library network libraries of such status were not included; central county, city, township, village libraries and children’s libraries and mobile. The statistical information on the number of different types of libraries is given.

THE POPULATION CHANGES OF DISTRICTS OF THE SOUTH OF CENTRAL RUSSIA IN 1830-1850

Abstract

The changing population of provinces and districts in the South of Central Russia in 1830-1850s is studied. The change in the size of the population of three provinces and districts in the South of Central Russia in 1830-1850s was influenced by such factors as epidemic cholera (accompanied by epidemic hunger in 1833 and 1848), scurvy, cyclical crop failures accompanied by hunger in the countryside (bad harvest and famine in 1833 in Black Earth region in 1833-1834, 1839-1840, 1848, 1856). The growth of serfdom led to stunting of serf population and stagnant, which lasted until 1861. So, from 1830s almost completely stopped the growth of the absolute number of serf population. However, in 1850s the situation was corrected in connection with the improvement of the epidemiological situation and the resumption of the Decree of Paul I of the three-day serfdom. It is important to note that during this period the demographic problems were not only among the serfs. In 1830-1850s there was an increase in population in the provinces and districts of South-Central Russia, however, the percentage of serfs reduced.

TERRITORIAL (ZEMSKY) DISTRICT CHIEFS AS AN OBJECT OF CONTROL (BASING ON THE EXAMPLE OF TAMBOV PROVINCE)

Abstract

The institution of zemsky chiefs as an object of control from higher authorities is considered. It is interesting to mention that zemsky chiefs were totally controlled though they themselves had a lot of powers: administrative and judicial functions, participating in commissions etc. The authorities obeyed “the county congress” which consisted of administrative and judicial attendance. Analysis of the following research showed that the county congress was same nobleman’s institution as zemsky chiefs. Thus, control was rather formal. Revisions of zemsky districts were rare. In Tambov province they took place between 1906-1909, in 1912 and in 1915. In most cases the revisions had successful results despite the found mistakes. So the control existed but it was formal enough. Nearly all zemsky chiefs except for some had support. All these factors made the power of authorities enormous, able to interfere into many aspect of peasants’ life.

THE ESSENCE AND SPECIFICS OF CAREER SELF-DETERMINATION OF STUDENTS’ YOUTH

Abstract

Career self-determination of students is considered. The essence of the definition is considered from the clarification of such basic concepts as: career, career strategy, career path, career self-determination. The concepts of “career”, “career strategies of young people”, “career self-determination” from the point of view of sociology, psychology, pedagogy and socio-cultural activities are defined. The process of career self-determination of the student youth as an individual’s ability to mind-blowing activities focused on the search for career trajectories, a conscious choice of the image of professional activity, stages of career and technology for their career goals achievement are characterized. Structural components of career self-determination such as: career orientation, career prediction, career competency, career self-assessment, cognitive activity are considered. Stages of career self-determination of students, including the development of professional and personal skills of the individual are identified. The modern concept of modeling the process of career self-determination, which involves personal creativity, co-creativity, creativity within the group or organization is studied. Student government is seen as an effective environment for career self-determination of young people, activating personal potential in the learning process, by integrating into the process of management and governance of the University. The key vectors of development of student self-governance in the context of development of career strategies are identifies.

THE MODEL OF FORMATION OF INFORMATION CULTURE OF STUDENTS OF MILITARY HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS BY MEANS OF SOCIO-CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Abstract

The model of formation of information culture of cadets of military higher education institutions by means of socio-cultural activities is founded. The relevance of the author’s model, which meets modern requirements to quality of training of military specialists is marked. It is proved that a huge potential in the development of information culture of cadets has a socio-cultural activity, the specificity of which is that, free from classroom work time, the listener independently simulates leisure space depending on individual preferences. The model is based on the principles of consistency, voluntariness and freedom of choice and includes: conceptual unit (focused on the development of the capacity for rapid and effective formalization of the material, the task of data interpretation, information search, based on the internal motives of a person to broaden their horizons); functionally meaningful unit (aimed at development of modern information software, development of thinking, creative imagination for inclusion in a virtual situation, and understanding the prestige of the information education in support of career); criterion-effective (focused on the development of diagnostic techniques to identify the level of formation of information culture of cadets). At the same time, the role of means of socio-cultural activities, modeling of educational and sociocultural environment of the university (classroom and extracurricular work) with the use of pedagogically useful didactic support, created on the basis of modern information technologies.
