Anglicisms in the sphere of information technology in German
Abstract
the proposed article examines the reasons for the appearance of anglicisms in German in the field of information technology, analyzes the appropriateness of their use, and considers the impact of borrowings on language formation. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the trends that determine the borrowing of English words in German. The wide penetration of anglicisms in the field of information technology in German is promoted by the global dominance of English in this field and its role as an international language of communication in the professional environment, in addition, the spread of anglicisms is promoted by the press. Anglicisms spread rapidly in German, surpassing any other groups of foreign vocabulary by the rate of adaptation. As some linguists and public figures are dissatisfied with the current situation, criticism of the phenomenon is growing in Germany, but such initiatives do not find wide support, as Anglicisms are used intensively and widely. The most important external reason for the large number of Anglicisms in modern German is the comprehensive contact between these languages. The material of the article may be useful for undergraduate and graduate students of comparative-historical linguistics and historical sociolinguistics.

The image of Russian art culture in the American media (using the example of The New York times)
Abstract
this study focuses on the analysis of how Russian artistic culture is represented in the English-speaking media, using the example of articles from The New York Times. The aim of this work is to identify the characteristics of the formation of the image of Russian art in the English media. The theoretical basis for this analysis is based on linguistic and philosophical approaches to studying the image as a mental and symbolic concept that shapes the perception of culture. We pay special attention to the works of I.V. Arnold, A.D. Makarov, Y.M. Kizer, E.B. Borisov, M.A. Lazareva, and I.N. Ziganshina, who view the image as a complex cognitive, semantic, and symbolic structure arising from the interpretation of cultural phenomena. Our empirical basis consists of English-language articles from The New York Times that discuss Russian art. The image in the given context is understood as a mental representation of reality, shaped through the meaningful interaction between the author and the surrounding world. The study has shown that the image of Russian culture in American media is a complex construct that combines an appreciation for cultural heritage with a sense of distance.

Models of conceptual metaphorization of the lexeme “truth” in the language objectification of the concept of the same name
Abstract
the article examines the features of conceptual metaphorization of the lexeme “truth” according to the models of reification and animation, presented in Russian speech, as a language representation of the concept of the same name. The methodological basis of the study is the theory of cognitive metaphor by G. Lakoff and M. Johnson. The work uses the methodology of complex, linguo-cultural and cognitive-oriented, conceptual analysis developed by researchers of the Nizhny Novgorod Scientific School. The material of the study is a selection of examples extracted from the main corpus in the Russian National Corpus. The volume of the material was 244 units. It is shown that the lexeme “truth”, in the aspect of the universal tendency of concretized representation of abstraction in natural languages, is consistently realized in speech according to the models of reification, being understood as a concretely perceived entity – a thing, substance, container, etc., and according to the models of animation, being understood as an animated being, a purposefully and actively acting agent. It is concluded that the procedure of conceptual analysis of conceptual-metaphorical models proposed in the work is an effective scientific instrument for identifying and interpreting the specifics of the embodiment of significant cultural concepts in the ethnic language picture of the world. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of applying its main results in university teaching of Russian as a foreign language, as well as in the practice of compiling dictionaries of concepts of Russian national culture, including for educational purposes.

Toponymy of Britain
Abstract
this article examines the history of the British Isles before the Battle of Hastings through the prism of migration waves and conquests, as well as their reflection in mythology and toponymy. The main goal of the study is to deeply analyze the relationship between historical events and mythological narratives, since these works not only reflect the cultural characteristics of their time, but also serve as important sources for understanding the historical processes that took place in the British Isles. The work considers key migrations of Celtic tribes, such as the arrival of the Britons, Picts and Scots, as well as the impact of Roman rule on the culture, language and social structures of the region. Particular attention is paid to how the Roman conquests changed the cultural heritage of Britain. Roman toponyms and their evolution are examined in the context of historical changes, which allows us to trace the transformation of geographical identity and its impact on the local population. The objectives of the study include identifying changes in the linguistic environment and cultural identity of the peoples of the British Isles under the influence of conquerors, as well as analyzing how mythology reflects these changes. The practical application of the study is to deepen the understanding of the cultural identity and historical memory of the peoples of the region. The results can be useful for historians, linguists and cultural scientists seeking a more complete understanding of the legacy of Roman influence on Britain. In addition, the work can contribute to further research in the field of mythology and its role in the formation of collective consciousness, which is relevant for the study of not only British but also world history.

The semantic potential of anthropological concepts of the English language
Abstract
the semantic potential of the anthropological foundations of the English language is an important aspect of linguistic analysis, it is multidimensional, and reveals both the features of the structure of the formation of derived words and cultural significance. This potential helps to penetrate deep into the mechanism of language nomination and the dynamics of changes in lexical units. To achieve this goal, a selection of anthroponymic vocabulary was carried out, which is mostly represented by nouns and adjectives. Theoretical methods such as analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, continuous sampling, definitional and component analysis have led to reliable research results. Historical, mythological, literary names, names of writers, scientists, and rulers have formed a large layer of vocabulary in the English language through nomination and suffixing. When forming a new vocabulary, the following suffixes are the most frequent: -ian, -tic / -ic, -ian / -ean, -ful / -less, eal / -eall, -esque, -ese, enriching the vocabulary according to the semantic principle of "identical in manner, style, syllable", "belonging to certain views or trends". This group of vocabulary is also distinguished by its binary meaning. As for nominative vocabulary, it has significantly enriched the international vocabulary, which indicates the ability of anthroponyms to open up opportunities for the formation of secondary names. Anthroponymic theory serves as a kind of key to understanding the culture, history of a particular people and world history in general.

A novel approach to target audience analysis: synthetic recipients
Abstract
the purpose of this study was to describe a methodology for analyzing the characteristics of the target audience of advertising messages using synthetic recipients powered by artificial intelligence technologies. It includes the collection and analysis of primary data about the target audience, the creation of synthetic recipients for both broad and narrow segmentation, the development of a questionnaire to refine audience preferences, and conducting surveys with synthetic recipients. The practical application of this methodology is relevant for testing advertising hypotheses, selecting communication channels, forming personalized messages, and improving the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. The study concludes that the advantages of applying this methodology include high implementation speed and economic efficiency. Synthetic recipients can partially compensate for the lack of data about the target audience of advertising messages. However, their use has certain limitations, such as strong dependence on the quality of input data, the absence of psychological and emotional factors, the potential for algorithmic errors in creating synthetic recipients, and a lack of contextual flexibility. Nevertheless, the results of the conducted research demonstrate that under conditions of limited access to target audience data, as well as the inability to implement large-scale advertising studies, the application of a methodology for analyzing target audience characteristics using AI-powered synthetic recipients opens up new opportunities for gaining a competitive advantage.

The binary opposition "good / evil" in Russian linguistic consciousness
Abstract
in the context of ethical philosophy and linguacultural studies, the categories of good and evil represent fundamental binary oppositions that permeate the entire history of human society. In the linguistic picture of the world, these concepts are interpreted as a dichotomy of positive and negative principles, which indicates their universality and deep rootedness in the collective consciousness. Despite the transformation of social, cultural and religious paradigms, the significance of these categories has not only not diminished, but has also acquired particular relevance in the context of the formation and maintenance of the moral identity of the individual and society as a whole. Good and evil act as fundamental principles that structure the system of moral norms and rules that determine behavioral patterns and social interactions. These categories not only characterize the moral qualities of the individual, such as empathy, responsibility, honesty and fairness, but also regulate interpersonal relationships that arise in the process of joint activities. The article uses the associative experiment to substantiate the validity of the structural-functional model of psycholinguistic mechanisms of association formation, as well as the corresponding types of associative fields. The conducted associative experiment confirmed that the ethical categories of good and evil are an integral part of the linguistic picture of the world. This conclusion is based on the fundamental principles of cognitive linguistics, which postulate an inseparable connection between language and cognitive processes, including the formation of ethical ideas. The results of the study demonstrate that these categories are not only present in the consciousness of native speakers, but also play a key role in structuring their worldview.

Such an analysis makes it possible to note a number of general trends in the development of the thematic group under study, to draw certain conclusions about the sources of its formation and the features of its use in the language. It is noted that the origins of the primordial vocabulary naming food belong to the general Dagestani layer of vocabulary and are stable. The foreign-language food names in the dialect under study function completely according to the laws and principles of this dialect. Until the beginning of the 20th century, food names were borrowed from Eastern languages. Since the 20th century, food names have been borrowed from the Russian language. The very existence of the most common names, more specific, concretizing food names, also indicates the systemic nature of the vocabulary group under study.

The problem of the interrelation between the lexical meaning of words and polysemy (based on the English language)
Abstract
the article analyzes the problem of the relationship between lexical meanings and polysemy in English. In the course of the research, the features of approaches to determining the meaning and polysemy of lexemes are considered, the specifics of classification methods and the main models of lexical meanings are shown, and the conclusion is made about the relationship between the meanings of lexemes and their polysemy. The author believes that a conceptual approach to lexical meaning, when were analyzed the formation of concepts, changes in meaning and motivation, is most important in the research of the problem of polysemy. The dominant meaning is the genetic characteristic of the meaning and the etymology of the lexeme, since its original meaning is the basis for the formation of other meanings. Among the models of lexemes meaning, the most effective are context analysis, the concepts of morphosemantic and onomasiological fields, which show that polysemous words have the same form and different meanings which related. Thus, the relationship between lexical meaning and polysemy is determined. In English, its level is more developed than in Russian. Analyzing the situation and context can give words and phrases an accurate meaning. The research may be useful for anyone interested in the issues of lexical semantics and lexicology of modern English.

Interpretation of text information: linguistic model
Abstract
this article is devoted to the interpretation of text information. The article considers the features and problems of interpreting text information. Particular attention was paid to the problem of multiple interpretations, which in turn raises the problem of adequacy of interpretation. An attempt was made to formulate criteria for the adequacy of interpretation based on the canons of Emilio Betti. It is believed that interpretation will be successful when the recipient and author's worldviews coincide, which in turn requires background knowledge and understanding of the cultural and historical context. To form a recipient's interpretation strategy, the author of the text uses certain linguistic means. Since this article is a part of a study devoted to the strategy of interpreting legal terms, a legal text was considered as a linguistic model, and its content was analyzed. In comparison with a fiction text, a legal text is distinguished by the absence of an author's personality and limited linguistic means. The features of legal discourse are such that its understanding does not require special cultural background knowledge, but knowledge of legal terms instead. Some researchers do not consider multiple interpretations to be a disadvantage, but it should be avoided in legal discourse.

Using literary integrations in advertising campaigns on the example of VTB Bank
Abstract
due to the rapid annual development of the sphere of sales of goods and services, the tools for attracting consumers continue to improve and are of particular interest to scientists. In the research of Ivanova A.P., Yagodkina M.V., Galay K.N. and other authors, the idea of the productivity of introducing cultural heritage into advertising texts is clearly expressed. This method is especially relevant in the context of the imperfect type of competition of banking organizations. Thus, the purpose of the study is to study and evaluate the impact of literary integrations on the effectiveness of VTB Bank's advertising campaigns. The objectives of the work include a scientific justification of the importance of this approach for a commercial organization, a description of its advantages, disadvantages and risks, as well as linguistic features. The article presents an analysis of the use of literary integrations in advertising using the example of VTB Bank's marketing strategy and its impact on the success of the entire campaign. The mechanism of the complex influence of literary linguistic and non-linguistic means on the process of forming the loyalty of the target audience is described. Special attention is paid to how references to classical literature contribute to strengthening VTB's image as an intellectual brand that introduces the public to art. The problematic nature of the work lies in the fact that this method is one of the manipulative tactics to attract customers. This provokes irrational consumption of the company's products by the mass audience, which negatively affects client's living conditions. The article opens up a space for further study of trends and dynamics of changes in the field of marketing and consumer psychology.
