Features of the use of object in genitive or inessive form in the Erzya language
Abstract
The article studies the main differences of the use of genitive and inessive objects in the Erzya literary language. The author identifies the role of characteristics of the object and verb and the influence of the sentence characteristics and its informative structure on the choice of the object case.


Ethnographic dialecticisms of the Erzya language: a study of "Mordwinische Wörterbuch" dictionary by H. Paasonen
Abstract
The article includes a lexical and semantic analysis of ethnographic dialecticisms of the Erzya language. The analysis is based on the dictionary "Mordwinische Wörterbuch" by H. Paasonen. The ethnographic lexical units represent the items of material and spiritual culture of the Mordvinian ethnic group.


Lexical and semantic analysis of Russian, Finnish and Hungarian proverbs with the concept "truth–lie"
Abstract
The article presents a lexical and semantic analysis of Russian, Finnish and Hungarian paroemias in terms of representation of the concept "truth–lie" in the proverb worldview. The relevance of the study is due to the high significance of these concepts in the cultures of the nations in question.




Dialectism types of the Erzya language vocabulary: a study of Shoksha village of Tengushevskiy district of the Republic of Mordovia
Abstract
The article presents a study the vocabulary of the Shoksha dialect of the Erzya language. The analysis is based on the dialectisms of Shoksha village of Tengushevskiy district of the Republic of Mordovia. The authors describe the types of dialecticisms in connection with on their relationships with the lexical units of the Erzya literary language.




Morphological means of expressing comparisons in the Erzya language
Abstract
The article considers the main morphological means of expressing comparisons in the Erzya language – the comparative case and the translative case. The authors also analyze the comparative constructions with the nominative form and the degrees of comparison of adjectives and adverbs.


Representing the specifics of Erzian clothes in the novel "Stepan Erzya" by K. Abramov
Abstract
The article attempts at interpreting the creative explorations of K. G. Abramov in his novel "Stepan Erzya". The author focuses on the writer's construction of time background and space background in the novel. These are the reference points used for national identity representation, in particular, the specifics of Erzya female characters' clothes.




On lexical and semantic transformations in translations from Hungarian to Udmurt language
Abstract
When translating from one language to another, a number of changes (lexical, grammatical and other kinds of transformations) take place. These transformations help to create a text on the target language equivalent to the original. When translating Hungarian fiction texts to the Udmurt language, lexical (transcription, transliteration, loan translation) and lexical-semantic (concretization, generalization, modulation, antonymic translation, explication and cultural realities translation of the source language) transformations are generally used.
