Internet addiction and social adaptation of teenagers: an experimental study

Abstract

The article considers the impact of modern information technologies on the formation and development of personality features in adolescence. The authors prove the statement about the correlation of Internet addiction and social adaptation of adolescents. Particularly, the adolescents with a high level of Internet addiction are characterized by a reduced level of adaptation, self-acceptance, internality as well as the desire for domination and escapism.

Correlation of trait anxiety and ethnic tolerance

The article analyzes the approach to the study of ethnic tolerance as an integral property of a person. The correlation of ethnic tolerance and trait anxiety is empirically tested.
