RESEARCH AND PROJECT WORK OF SENIOR SCHOOL STUDENTS ON THE BASIS OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract

Some questions, connected with getting knowledge on profile subjects (physics, chemistry, biology, geography, mathematics) through a foreign language and using it in their research work are considered. School syllabi give students basic knowledge according to the program requirements. Participation of students in research work discovers the lack of necessary knowledge for carrying out the experimental work, on the theme of investigation. Using additional scientific sources, including articles in a foreign language, helps students to cope with this problem and enlarge their knowledge on profile subjects. While carrying out a research work, students immersed into active creative process. This helps them to form skills of working with different information. Students learn to classify information, systematize and use it. It is necessary to note, that the research work on inter-subject level helps in forming an integrated view on notions, phenomena, events of the world around us.

WAYS OF GEOGRAPHICAL REALITIES AND REALIA-TOPONYMS TRANSLATION IN POETIC TEXTS

Abstract

Translation of realia into a foreign language is one of the most acute problems which attracts different researchers’ attention. Definition of the notion “realia” has some difficulties. The problem of realia translation in poetic texts is considered. The notion “realia” is analyzed and the classification of translation ways is given. The results of the comparative analysis of the ways of translation used by different writers-translators while translating into Russian of realia which can be found in Robert Burn’s poetic works are presented. The linguistic analysis was performed with the aim of finding proper ways of conveying national identity. The one group of realia singled out in Burn’s poetic texts - geographical realia and realia-toponyms is discussed. The results of the analysis describe the most appropriate methods of translation of realia from English into Russian.

THE STAGES OF STUDENTS’ WRITTEN LANGUAGE EDUCATION BASING ON THE METHOD OF REVIEWING

Abstract

The method of reviewing is one of modern methods of students’ written language education. It consists in mutual reviewing of written work by students. Fourteen stages of methods of teaching students’ written speech basing on the method of review are considered: 1) the students get acquainted with the structure of written work; 2) they discuss methodological values of method of reviewing in getting written speech in foreign language; 3) they study the reminder card with phrases and expressions used while reviewing (commenting) written tasks; 4) the students get acquainted with examples of written tasks reviewing; 5) testing group task for reviewing anonymous example with the analysis and discussion; 6) the choice of Internet-platform for project realization, registration on this platform, explanation of technological side of project realization on reviewing by students of each other’s written tasks; 7) the students get acquainted with criteria of written work estimation; 8) preparation for writing and writing the written task; 9) the placement of written tasks on Internet-platform; 10) review of written works on the Internet-platform; 11) analysis of reviews and comments and the students make the necessary changes in written tasks; 12) replacement of worked version of written task; 13) estimation of written tasks by a teacher; 14) students’ reflection. The content of every stage is described in detail.

MOTIVATION OF STUDENTS’ COGNITIVE ACTIVITY BY WEB-QUEST TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

The issue of effective foreign language teaching techniques in higher educational institution is considered. According to the Federal state educational standards, the main objective of teaching to foreign languages in higher educational institutions is mastering the foreign language to a level of communicative competence that allows students to solve professional problems effectively in the corresponding sphere of their activity. Using a range of pedagogical innovations, based on methodology of problem and individual-focused approaches, the web-quest technology is one of the most effective pedagogical strategies for students’ foreign language communicative competence development. Its didactic potential promotes the development of students’ critical thinking and their intellectual development; it stimulates their activity, autonomy and involvement in authentic context of their future professional activity. As we know, the motivation of students’ cognitive activity is one of the essential pedagogical conditions for foreign language communicative competence formation. An attempt to analyze how useful the internet learning resources are is taken, i.e. the web-quest technology, for its formation and development. The web-quest structure assumes both an individual and team work, where interactive form of teaching much more corresponds to individual-focused approach. Thereupon the web-quest technology promotes motivation to the study, which comprises not only students’ interest in searching necessary information, but also their willingness to fulfill the task independently. Hence, students develop thereby the abilities to their independent activity that helps to transform the information received into deep consideration and comprehension. Thus, an integration of web-quest into the educational process solves one of the key tasks of contemporary education an increase of out-of-class students’ independent work volume. Therefore, the metacognition process forms the process of self-control of the individual, and the independent work acquires the pattern of controllability of the student. Its effectiveness in the educational process is followed by the teacher’s organization, which is aimed at the tasks implementation settled at each stage of the web-quest.

SENTENCE CONSTRUCTION IN BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE

Abstract

Sentence construction in Brazilian Portuguese is researched and described. Various types of sentences are examined, and the particularities of their construction are revealed, with attention being paid to stylistic, morphological and functional aspects of sentence parts. A characterization is given of the functioning of their parts. Rules governing word order and the role of sentence parts in Brazilian Portuguese are set out. Common mistakes in discourse building are considered, as are means of reducing their number. The results of parallel research of similarities and differences between Brazilian Portuguese and Russian and/or English are given, based on examples of various means of sentence building and organization in the respective languages are presented. The particularities of sentence functions depending on word order, including inversion and interrogative sentences, are examined. The role of context in constructing speech forms in Brazilian Portuguese as a necessary condition for sentence formation in the use of different parts of discourse is considered. The certain semantic features of discourse elements are revealed. A conclusion is made on the topicality of studying grammatically correct sentence building. Justification is made of the necessity to examine particularities of languages independently of each other and side by side.

ALL-RUSSIAN PHYSICAL COMPLEX “READY FOR LABOUR AND DEFENCE” AS A LEGAL FRAMEWORK FOR PHYSICAL EDUCATION SUPPORTING

Abstract

Physical education takes one of the most important places in educational process in modern school. But anyway it has secret resources and educational potential. The system of physical education in school must provide different means and forms of physical education use depending on age, sex, health, physical training of children and teenagers. The systematic character of this work, gradual increase of capacity and complex use of different forms and means of physical training is a key to a successful health keeping of the growing generation. Physical education at school may be planned both as complex lessons, that means some pedagogic problems decision and as one point lesson that means the decision of one pedagogic task. Anyway, during the lessons the attention is paid to independent work of students, who must have some independency in lessons planning and their structure, the set of exercises choice and capacity control, functional state of the organism control and training process results. The teacher’s role is in consulting and correction of the developed individual methods by students, help in organization of independent work, including homework. The introduction of the third physical education lesson increased the physical training role in modern pupils’ education, improvement of their health, the increase of physical activity, the development of their physical abilities development and physical training improvement, instilling of healthy lifestyle. The implementation of “Ready for Labour and Defence” complex from the beginning of the year let be more objective in pupils’ physical training level estimation and be a motivation for independent physical exercises to prepare for “Ready for Labour and Defence”.

Abstract

For more than a century basketball as a sport game has got a huge number of fans all over the world. Inherent high emotionality and entertainment, a variety of manifestations of physical qualities and motor skills, intellectual abilities and mental capacity is attracting growing interest and millions of fans in our country. Experience has shown that one of the reserves for improving the performance of competitive activity is to improve the special physical training of basketball players. Physical fitness is characterized by a state of the body’s functions, the degree of development of motor skills and forms of the body, as well as a variety of motor skills that are possessed man. The term “physical fitness” is characterized, first of all, by the functionality of the human body and is used when the stresses applied orientation of physical education in relation to employment, military, sports or other activities. The main way to achieve physical fitness of an athlete is the development of his motor qualities. Physical fitness, as a result of physical training, reflects the performance achieved in the mature motor skills. Physical training is divided into general and special. General physical training is the process of comprehensive development of physical abilities, but it also improves their level and overall health of an athlete. Special physical training is the process of education of physical abilities and functionality of an athlete, unlike general is that it must respond to the specifics of interest to the sport.

INFLUENCE OF PREVENTIVE EXERCISES SET ON BACK’S CONDITION OF YOUNG FENCERS

Abstract

Modern fencing is characterized by a complication of competition conditions, a fight aggravation, an athlete’s training system improvement. During the day highly skilled athletes should conduct repeatedly battles and before each fight it is necessary to make efforts on adaptation of the motive and mental sphere to the forthcoming fights. After analyzing the scientific and methodical literature, the conclusion is made that one of the frequent changes in the spine column at fencers of 13-14 years is violation of a bearing in the frontal plane which leads to serious violations of the general functional condition of an organism. Rehabilitation actions in system of conservative treatment have a number of essential advantages, and the main thing, being preventive, allow to do without expeditious intervention. The problem zones of the musculoskeletal device of fencers are defined. There are comparative data on the condition of the children’s back who are engaged and not engaged in fencing. The research has defined the need of carrying out some preventive actions in a training process to prevent injuries and diseases of young athletes’ backs. The set of exercises was developed and presented for prevention of injuries and diseases of young fencer’s back. We have conducted preliminary research where the effective influence of the applied preventive complex is shown.

Abstract

A sport sphere is presently characterized by intensive development and height of sporting achievements. The growing level of sports results, rational use of time playing sports need to find new means and methods to improve and increase the efficiency of the training process. A leading place among the different types of sport is taken by track-and-field. Special position is held by marathon race (run on a distance of 42 km 195 m). Marathon running is w very popular all over the world, so it is now of great interest to many experts is the training process of runners - marathoners at different stages of preparation, because on the literate use of physical activity the result of performances of sportsmen depends in competitions. During special preparation work volume rises, and intensity of training work is increasing. Very often during this period dispensing of loading and rest are not proportional to the current readiness of an organism of the athlete, what leads to injuries and other negative consequences. On the modern stage of development of marathon race the problem of achievement of maximally high sporting results is set, that is related to the increase of efficiency of training process due to the increase of total volume and intensification of work during a year. The absence of recommendations about reasonable organization of the sporting training with the different primary orientation of physical exercises which allow to achieve most good results has induced to studying of the problem of Rational planning of training process of runners-marathon racers of high qualification in specially - setup time of circannual cycle of preparation of sportsmen.

PREPARATION OF SWIMMING SPECIALISTS ACCORDING TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF MODERN STANDARDS OF SPORT PREPARATION FOR WORK WITH CHILDREN WHO HAVE INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY

Abstract

So much attention is paid to sports individuals with intellectual disabilities in international social practice due to at least two factors. Firstly, it is the huge potential of adaptive sport as area of rehabilitation, social integration and improvement of the life quality of this population. Second reason is the largest number of persons with intellectual lesions compared to individuals with other nosological forms of limitations on health. For example, there are more than 300 mil. people with intellectual disabilities; mental retardation occurs 9 times more often in cerebral palsy, 15 times more likely to total blindness, and 35 times more likely to muscular dystrophy; more than 70 % of the total number of students in special (correctional) educational institutions of the Russian Federation are children with intellectual disabilities. In our country, the ideology and philosophy of Special Olympics, developed and controlled by SOI, brings to life the Special Olympics Russia (President A.V. Pavlov) and Paralympic sports for persons with intellectual disabilities under the auspices of the international organization of sport for the disabled, all-Russian sports persons federation with intellectual disabilities (President S.P. Evseev). In the Russian Federation for disabled persons and persons with disabilities involved in sports are subject to special Federal standards of sports training, mandatory in the development and implementation of relevant programmes, including training, and the determination of requirements for coaching and teaching staff.

RESEARCH OF PARENTS’ INVOLVEMENT (REPRESENTATIVES IN LAW) OF STUDENTS IN EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS ACTIVITY ON DEVELOPMENT AND REALIZATION OF BASIC EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Abstract

The results of research are carried out in the context of which the nature and grade of society involvement in process control of Federal state educational standards of primary and basic general education in educational organizations realization. The research included statistically true selection (17790 people) from 80 regions of Russian Federation including representatives of regulatory body of education performing state management in the sphere of education, the heads of educational organizations, teachers, parents (representatives in law). Theoretical concept of the research was based on the notion of social partnership as politological, sociological and economical phenomenon having the most important pedagogical effects. One of the intermediate results of the research was development of criteria-diagnostic basis for studying the grade of involvement of society in the process of realization of federal state educational standards management. The structure of basic criteria is evaluation of intensity and performance of parents’ participation and society in management and also its emotional-value evaluation. The results of the research demonstrated that meanings of the studied criteria are rather high. It may be considered basing on different evaluations that more than 60 % of parents (representatives in law) of students show influence on education content, its form and conditions of realization. More than 70-80 % of parents’ wishes (representatives in law) one way or another take into consideration while development of basic educational programs of educational organizations. At the same time some problems of such interaction is revealed. At the level of regions the developed infrastructure is missing (organizational, methodical or informational character) which could support the development of forms of state-social educational organizations management, not sufficient development of legal practice of accompaniment of the researched forms of interaction, vigilance and distrust of the participants. The necessity of infrastructural decisions at regional level is established. On the other hand, stimulation of educational organizations to this kind of cooperation is also important.

SELF-ATTITUDE DEVELOPMENT AS A FACTOR OF TEENAGE CHILDREN’S PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH

Abstract

The term “self-attitude” is founded. It lies in the basis of self-estimation formation, reflection, level of aspiration and it is defined by such notions as self-respect, auto-sympathy. The analysis of scientific literature and professional activity experience let reveal the counteractions in the necessity of teenage child’s negative orientation on himself, on his own forces and possibilities in the position of self-sufficient, significant personality that the society needs and the lack of the developed constructive strategies in educational practice of school. Self-attitude is considered as teenage children’s quality of personality based on complex of orientations on himself which provide psychological development of the personality. As a hypothesis of the research the proposition was made that the most important determinant of psychological health is self-attitude of personality, which regulates the activity and the behavior of the teenage child and his development will be successful under specially-organized psychological conditions. According to the tasks of research were used such general-psychological methods as viewing, talk, experiment. To study the peculiarities of self-attitude of teenagers was used the complex of complementary psycho-diagnostic methods: methods of self-attitude research (MSAR) of S.R. Pantileev, methods of self-estimation with the help of procedure of arranging; methods of T.W. Dembo - S.Y. Rubenstein and others. The conditions of self-attitude development as a factor of psychological health of teenage children are considered, the criteria of psychological health are revealed; the connection of indices of self-attitude and psychological well-being are revealed.

Abstract

An important task for the teacher is to educate students in care, correctness, willingness to help, teamwork, honesty, unselfishness, criticality of goodwill in respect of all people. A good means of educating these qualities can serve a variety of outdoor games and competitions. Fulfilling the role of team captain games, assistant (teacher), leading, defender, forward, students learn not only to meet their own responsibilities, but also to control the actions of other people, organize them to address common problems. An important place in the classroom for outdoor games takes gaming method that allows to distract from dealing with sometimes continuous repetitive work in the classroom, increase their emotions, make them variety. The task of the teacher is that of a plurality of mobile games appropriate to choose exactly the game, which would help as soon as possible to increase the emotional burden and help mastering and securing the necessary knowledge and skills, as well as the development and strengthening of bones and ligaments, muscle system and the formation of the correct figures involved.

Abstract

The experience of the development and implementation of models of implementation of pedagogical potential of recreational and health technologies in organization of medical-improving rest of the younger generation is described. The model of this research includes the task, process and diagnostic and effective blocks. The model assumes the implementation of the social order that is associated with complex formation at the child of careful attitude to their health, toning, development of creative skills and abilities, identifying talent, attracting children to engage in club groups of Amateur art, formation of Patriotic consciousness. The purpose of this model was actively promoting the formation of skills of healthy lifestyle of children and adolescents, prevention of psychophysical deviations, formation of Patriotic consciousness, as well as engaging in Amateur art collectives. The main evaluation criteria of efficiency of pedagogical impact were motivational, cognitive, operational, communicative component, reflective, emotional, creative. In the process of model implementation of children and adolescents of the experimental group dramatically increased knowledge and the desire to grow in the ownership of healthy lifestyle, knowledge of local history, knowledge of creative skills, credibility with peers, independence when performing creative tasks, assessment of physical development, the ability to work in teams, willingness to learn new kinds of creativity, increasing knowledge in the field of culture and art, the ability to control emotions.

THE STUDY OF THE MILITARY SPORTS BOARDING SCHOOL STUDENTS’ SOCIALIZATION OF THE MILITARY INSTITUTE OF PHYSICAL TRAINING

Abstract

The relevance of pre-university educational institutions students socialization study of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense is caused by social and psychological difficulties which teenagers face when enter educational institutions of the militarized type and effective means of pedagogical influence can help in overcoming that. In the development of such means it is necessary to focus on the specifics of teenagers’ socialization in the conditions of training in the military cadet schools, for understanding that the presented research was conducted, the purpose of which was to identify the characteristics of socialization of the students of the Military Sports Boarding School of the Military Institute of Physical Training. Socialization was researched due to appropriate evaluation of internal and external manifestations of socialization. The criteria of internal manifestations of socialization were presented by self-attitude, self-image in the time term, value orientation of the individual. The criteria of the external manifestations of socialization were: attitude towards school, relationships with others, sociometric status. The study applied the methods of theoretical analysis and generalization of data on special literature, testing, questionnaires, mathematical statistics. Based on these data, it was concluded that a more harmonious manifestation is identified in internal criteria of students’ socialization and, in particular, cognitive and affective components are more highly-developed in comparison with behavioral ones. In addition, by the results of the research the applied diagnostic means were analyzed for their informative value, after which they were shortened to optimize a further research in other pre-university educational institutions of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense.

THE CONCEPT OF PEDAGOGIC INSTITUTE DEVELOPMENT OF TAMBOV STATE UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER G.R. DERZHAVIN

Abstract

The necessity of effective regional educational policy realization is founded. Scientifically-based concept of regional systems of education reformation performance is established. The main features of educational systems regionalization are revealed. The importance of web interaction of split-level educational institutions of the region is proved. As one of dominating directions of Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin activities the development of Pedagogy Institute basing on web interaction with education organizations on federal and regional levels taking into consideration relevant and prospective needs of the region are considered. Taking into consideration the existing state strategy documents in the sphere of education and analysis it is clear that Tambov region needs pedagogic staff. So the concept of Pedagogy Institute development was worked out. Three phases of aims connected with reformations in educational, scientific-research and pedagogic work of the institute and variants of these problems decision are proposed. Hierarchy structure of multi-level educational complex where every ex-level provides the work of the following is developed and described. The attention is paid to connection of the second level (secondary vocational education) and the third level (higher education). The advantages of multi-level complex of continuous pedagogic education comparing to isolated educational institutions are considered. The creation of web Pedagogy Institute the centre of which will be Pedagogy Institute of Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin is founded.

Abstract

The relevant problem of engineer training in the system of further education of technical higher educational institution in the condition of strategic potential according to widening the hemisphere of knowledge-intensive and technical knowledge is considered. This was the basis for development of complex of principles of engineer training. In the complex of pedagogic principles the methodic system of strategic potential realization of further education of technical higher educational institution in modern engineer preparation is developed. The developed specific principles are considered in detail: the principle of engineer projecting plans realization of engineer training using available strategic potential of further education, educational aims, modernization of curriculum and educational sphere design so the listeners can get professional status of engineer which will correspond to the international level. The principle of continuity and delivery in achieving some goals of engineer training plans projecting of complex, educational service for preparation of modern engineer taking into consideration the possibilities of strategic potential of system of further education, foreseeing unity and connection of all components of educational service. The innovation principle of educational process of engineer training foresees development of strategy of innovations, planned positive changes and achievement of results of innovative development of system of further education of technical higher educational institution. The principle of advanced training of modern engineer supposes foreseeing the development and advanced reaction of system of further education on ideas of engineer training realization, oriented on prospects of scientific branches development. The principle of psychological comfort and professional culture supposes creation of good conditions in educational sphere of further education system which will correspond to moral-ethic rules and behavior of educational process participant.

B.P. MANSUROV’S CAREER AS AN EXAMPLE OF “GOVERNMENT-OFFICIALDOM” RELATIONS IN THE SECOND HALF OF XIX CENTURY

Abstract

An interest in historical anthropology is actively shown in recent decades in the national historiography. This fact explains the urgency consisting in the need to micro-level studies of the actors reform activities of the second half of the XIX century. This will on the one hand present a deeper understanding of the essence of some of the processes of transformation of the Russian Empire in the late XIX - early XX century, but on the other hand to work out a methodology for such research, which is used in modern historiography is not enough to study the history of the formation of the state apparatus. The aim is a professional biography of a prominent official and politician of the second half of XIX century B.P. Mansurov. As a graduate of the School of Law, a special educational institution for public servants, as well as having certain personal qualities, B.P. Mansurov was an image of the ideal official. Particular attention is paid to the dynamics of his career change. Professional activities of B.P. Mansurov combines elements of direct execution of orders originating on the country’s top officials and moments of creative planning and implementation of their own programs. The dependence of the career focus and context of government transformations is revealed.

The role of Russian-Ukrainian radical party in the formation of Ukrainian consciousness on soil of Austrian Galicia at the beginning of 90-s of XIX century is studied. The native and foreign historiography considering this problem is viewed. The state of social-political thoughts of that time considering the national self-identification problem of Eastern-Slavic population of Galicia is described. The relations of radical movement with Carpatho-Russian processes - Ukrainophilia and Russophilism (Western Ukrainian Russophiles) are studied. Basing on the analyzed sources the conclusion is made that ideologists of radical movement were intended to reject to oppose Ukrainophilia and Russophilism movements and pass to one defense of social-economic and political interests of Carpatho-Russian population. At the same time it is marked, that the aim of total work of Ukrainophilia and Russophilism following the opinion of radical movement leaders is the creation of separate cultural community of Russian and Polish. That will lead to formation of Ukrainian nation. The conditions under which it was possible to have unified activity of all Carpatho-Russian movements, including recognition of religion freedom, as Ukrainophilia accepted the necessity of disposition of confession and Russophilism is Greek-Catholic.

Согласие на обработку персональных данных с помощью сервиса «Яндекс.Метрика»

1. Я (далее – «Пользователь» или «Субъект персональных данных»), осуществляя использование сайта https://journals.rcsi.science/ (далее – «Сайт»), подтверждая свою полную дееспособность даю согласие на обработку персональных данных с использованием средств автоматизации Оператору - федеральному государственному бюджетному учреждению «Российский центр научной информации» (РЦНИ), далее – «Оператор», расположенному по адресу: 119991, г. Москва, Ленинский просп., д.32А, со следующими условиями.

2. Категории обрабатываемых данных: файлы «cookies» (куки-файлы). Файлы «cookie» – это небольшой текстовый файл, который веб-сервер может хранить в браузере Пользователя. Данные файлы веб-сервер загружает на устройство Пользователя при посещении им Сайта. При каждом следующем посещении Пользователем Сайта «cookie» файлы отправляются на Сайт Оператора. Данные файлы позволяют Сайту распознавать устройство Пользователя. Содержимое такого файла может как относиться, так и не относиться к персональным данным, в зависимости от того, содержит ли такой файл персональные данные или содержит обезличенные технические данные.

3. Цель обработки персональных данных: анализ пользовательской активности с помощью сервиса «Яндекс.Метрика».

4. Категории субъектов персональных данных: все Пользователи Сайта, которые дали согласие на обработку файлов «cookie».

5. Способы обработки: сбор, запись, систематизация, накопление, хранение, уточнение (обновление, изменение), извлечение, использование, передача (доступ, предоставление), блокирование, удаление, уничтожение персональных данных.

6. Срок обработки и хранения: до получения от Субъекта персональных данных требования о прекращении обработки/отзыва согласия.

7. Способ отзыва: заявление об отзыве в письменном виде путём его направления на адрес электронной почты Оператора: info@rcsi.science или путем письменного обращения по юридическому адресу: 119991, г. Москва, Ленинский просп., д.32А

8. Субъект персональных данных вправе запретить своему оборудованию прием этих данных или ограничить прием этих данных. При отказе от получения таких данных или при ограничении приема данных некоторые функции Сайта могут работать некорректно. Субъект персональных данных обязуется сам настроить свое оборудование таким способом, чтобы оно обеспечивало адекватный его желаниям режим работы и уровень защиты данных файлов «cookie», Оператор не предоставляет технологических и правовых консультаций на темы подобного характера.

9. Порядок уничтожения персональных данных при достижении цели их обработки или при наступлении иных законных оснований определяется Оператором в соответствии с законодательством Российской Федерации.
