Network Communications as an Instrument of Public Discussions in Russia During the Coronavirus Pandemic
Abstract
The paper examines the nature of political communication on the topic of the pandemic between the Russian civil society and the official authorities. This work proves that the response to the restrictive actions of the authorities was a noticeable increase in the protest activity of citizens on the Internet. The modern Russian information policy from a means of seeking a political consensus between the state and civil society, it turned often into a means of confrontation between them on social issues.

Latin American Vector in Foreign Policy of Modern Argentina
Abstract
This article aims at the examination of the main characteristics of Argentinian regional policy and its nature, as well as the perspective of the regionalization considering the actual geopolitical situation. The authors came to the conclusion about the complexity of the regional vector of the foreign policy of modern Argentina, but its implementation seems challenging due to the inactive process of regional integration.

Subnational Level of Russian Foreign Policy: Analysis of Subnational Units’ External Relations
Abstract
The study aims at international relations of subnational actors in a frame of the Russian foreign policy. Theory of paradiplomacy was used to explain a role of subnational units in a state foreign policy. There is a systematization and an analysis of bilateral relations of Russian federated states and administrative centres (cities) with foreign peers that are aggregated into the dataset. Employment of the mixed method, drawing on conjunction of qualitative and quantitative methods in research, led to define an auxiliary role of subnational actors for the state foreign policy.

Is History Repeating Itself? A New Geopolitical Block Structure is Being Created in the Indo-Pacific Region
Abstract
The article examines the process of creating a new block structure in the Indo-Pacific macroregion with the participation of the United States, Great Britain, Australia, and conducts a comparative analysis with the process of creating a North Atlantic block structure. The author concludes that there are historical parallels in the characteristics of these processes. The creation of AUKUS seems to be a new stage in the transformation of the global geopolitical model, a factor in changing the global status quo that has been developing for decades.

Abstract
The article deals with the influence of sports policy on various aspects of the life of modern society, the use of sports as an effective tool of political influence both within the country and in the international arena. The author describes in detail the various ways of putting pressure on government structures with the help of sports, the use of sports in the interests of mobilizing the population to support a variety of actions taken by state structures, as well as one of the elements of the “soft power” of the state.

Abstract
This article attempts to characterize the concepts of the social ideal developed within the framework of Russian socio-political thought of various ideological directions of the XIX century. During the period of Great Reforms, Russian thinkers begin to develop concepts of the social ideal, which become the system-forming element for the creation of holistic socio-political teachings. With the help of historical and political analysis, the author considers the main “types” of social ideals of liberalism, conservatism and radicalism.

On the Place of Influence in the “Triune Formula of Power”: Theoretical and Applied Aspects
Abstract
The article shows the inconsistency of the claims about the existence of opposite models of influence, allegedly characteristic of Russia as an “autocracy”, on the one hand, and “world democracies” (the United States and the West), on the other. Theoretical and applied aspects of the category “influence” are considered. The analysis of specialized literature is supplemented by a detailed analysis of expert opinions, the content of which can serve as an example of the approach of many Western experts on Russia to the problem under consideration.

The History of the Development of Modernism in Soviet Architecture: 1950–1960s
Abstract
The article is devoted to such a little-studied but gaining popularity phenomenon as the architecture of Soviet modernism. The author explores the emergence and growth of interest in this phenomenon among modern researchers of various branches of humanitarian knowledge. Emphasis is placed on internationalism and cultural continuity between the pre-war architecture of the 1920s and Soviet modernism of the 1960s.

The Establishment of the Russian Korean Frontier in 1858 to 1884 in Russian Historiography
Abstract
This paper analyzes the Russian historiography of the establishment of the Russian Korean frontier in 1858-1884. The analysis shows that the study of the frontier, even considering conventionality of its definition as a scientific term, includes the study of a number of issues related to the colonization of Primorye and the establishment of Russian Korean relations. The analysis bases on both deductive and inductive methods. The conducted research shows that the cultural and anthropological features of the interaction of the two peoples in the border zone during the studied period remain poorly studied, especially in the reflection of foreign sources.

Based on research of native historiography this article describes the issues of establishing the First Moscow (Demidov) commercial college. The major methods are general scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization). In the result of the study some of the particular and common problems, belonging to the Demidov college during its location in Moscow, mentioned in prerevolutionary soviet and modern Russian authors are clarified and criticized.

A Brief Overview of the History of Dacha Construction of the XVIII–XX Centuries
Abstract
A distinctive feature of Russian culture is that more than sixty per cent of the urban population have dachas. The dachas, which emerged under Peter the Great and by the mid-20th century covered the whole territory of the country, are an integral component of everyday life and everyday life of Russians. However, despite the scale of the dacha as a phenomenon, the history of dacha construction has not been sufficiently studied. The present article uses such research methods as description, analysis and synthesis of scientific, reference and fiction literature, and as a result a brief historical overview of dacha construction in the XVIII-XX centuries was compiled.

Anti-War Movement Against “Rocket Crises”
Abstract
Article discloses negative results for Russia security after 23 years history of NATO expansion to the East. It enumerates Russia Foreign Affairs Ministry demands, exposed in its December (2021) papers, which in case they are implemented by USA and NATO, may provide Russia with security juridical guarantees. Article also calls measures which may be taken by Russia in case the demands are ignored. It correlates critical for USSR / RF-collective West situations emerged in 1982 and 2022 which serve as a ground to name them «rocket crises». Analysis is made of antiwar vanguards activities in Italy, Spain and Greece in 80-s last century as well as US peace actions supporters at the beginning of 2022.

Over the past quarter century, Russian-Iranian relations have changed significantly in the context of the policy in the Islamic Republic of Iran, which covers the development and dissemination of historical and cultural heritage in a number of countries, including Russia. Iran itself opposes the introduction of any cultural influence of other countries, but within the framework of cooperation with Russia, it is interested in expanding cultural interaction.

Consumer Confidence Index as a Determinant of the Crime Level in Russia
Abstract
The author examines the factors influencing the crime rate and offers an analysis of crime dynamics in the context of changes in the index of consumer sentiment of Russians. The index is calculated based on answers to questions about the perception of the economic situation and its likely prospects. Time series analysis and correlation analysis for the entire population, as well as for individual groups that are presented in the material, can become the basis for mathematical modeling, which takes into account both economic and demographic factors reflecting the current situation.

Citizens’ Trust in the Police in Modern Russia: Current State and Analysis of Factors
Abstract
The article analyzes the factors that form the level of public confidence in the police. Based on the results of a sociological study conducted with the direct participation of the authors, as well as a secondary analysis of data, three groups of factors that affect the level of citizens’ trust in the police are considered: individual characteristics of citizens, characteristics of the institution under study, and the quality of state institutions in general.

Physical Capital and Military Service: the Importance of Cadet’s Physical Fitness in Achieving Professional Success
Abstract
The article presents an analysis of military cadet’s physical capital and its influence on objective and subjective indicators of professional success. Based on empirical data, it is concluded that physical capital plays a significant role during the period of selection for military service and military socialization, in further service activities its value reduces. The differences in the assessment of physical capital by servicemen of different social origins are emphasized.

Peculiarities of Behavior of Elderly People in the Conditions of the Spread of the Covid-19 Pandemic
Abstract
The features of social well-being and behavior of older people in the context of the coronavirus pandemic are analyzed. Analysis is based on data from the Russian Longitudinal Monitoring Survey - Higher School of Economics (RLMS-HSE). It is shown that in a pandemic, old age becomes a factor that increases social risks and vulnerability. But despite this, older people often overcome the difficulties that have arisen with less adaptation difficulties than younger people.

Management Culture as a Superindividual Essence
Abstract
Based on the document analysis method, the article proposes a solution to the problem of reducing managerial culture to management culture. This destructive theoretical approach became possible as a result of reducing the supra-individual phenomenon, which is managerial culture, to the individual level. This state of affairs sharply reduces the methodological possibilities of studying the managerial culture of an organization and makes it impossible to implement regulatory influences on this phenomenon.
