Abstract
Modern international relations are characterized by the increased activity of non-traditional actors. Cities in many countries coordinate their actions and cooperate in the interests of solving problems that affect not only those who live in them but are significant for all mankind. Cities are beginning to play a significant role in international relations, building links with each other and developing international activities. As a result, cooperation and communication between the cities of the world is becoming an integral component of modern international relations.
