Changes in Scientific and Educational Contacts between Turkey and the Countries of Central Asia
Abstract
The role of science and education in international relations is steadily growing. Scientific and educational ties are one of the most important tools of public diplomacy. Today, such contacts are already a commercial product with a growing number of educational institutions. Turkey's scientific and educational contacts with the countries of Central Asia have a thirty-year history. But this article will analyze some new aspects of this aspect of cooperation in detail relative to each country in the region.



The Concept of Political War: Approaches of West and East
Abstract
The article discusses the concept of political warfare. The author explores the theoretical foundations of the concept formulated by Western scientists, as well as the understanding of political warfare in the modern philosophy of politics of the People's Republic of China. Special attention is paid to the role of the concept in achieving China's political goals without the use of military force.



Specifics of the Development of the Turkish and Chinese Concept of "Smart Power" in Serbia
Abstract
The research focuses on the formation of smart power models of Turkey and China as a means of promoting national interests in Serbia. The paper analyzes the main directions and trends of Turkish-Serbian and Chinese-Serbian relations in the context of regional development.



The Key Features of US-Israel Relations at Current Stage of the World Political System
Abstract
The paper considers the role of Israel in a system of the US foreign policy priorities in the Middle East and identification of its features. Based on the data on the US assistance to the countries of the Middle East and general characteristics of current situation, the importance of Israel is substantiated from the point of view of both current and prospective US military and political presence in the Middle East. As a conclusion, the interest and the need for the United States to continue providing assistance to Israel are noted.



Political Aspects of the Functioning of Private Military Companies in the National Security Segment
Abstract
The article analyzes the key political aspects of the functioning of private military companies as one of the leading military and political institutions of our time, and also examines the most important factors determining the place and role of private military companies in the national security structure of modern states, and related issues of international development.



"Russia's Strategic Defeat" as a Constant of US Policy in the Conflict in Ukraine
Abstract
The article is devoted to the views of the US political establishment on the issue of Russia's "strategic defeat". The aim of the work is to specify the attitudes of the American political elite in the conflict in Ukraine, and to understand them in the scientific and expert community. The methodological basis of the work is studies on the policy of hegemony and America's political elite. The work used such methods as political science and hermeneutic analysis of materials. Doctrinal attitudes, research publications and expert assessments of the causes and consequences of the conflict in Ukraine are analyzed. In general, Washington's strategy is aimed at significantly limiting Russia's ability to ensure national security and interests.

Abstract
The crossing of the Alps by Russian troops under the command of Suvorov in 1799, during their struggle against a superior enemy and the forces of nature, was made possible due to the general's talent, education, resilience, and unique system of military training. However, in specialized literature and socio-political discourse regarding Suvorov and the Swiss campaign, distortions and errors are evident. The interests of strengthening national defense and advancing military development in Russia require an objective understanding of the achievements of the commander and the Russian forces.



Problems of Labor Resources in Construction in the USSR
Abstract
The article analyzes the problems of education and qualifications of labor resources in the Soviet construction industry. The Soviet builder had to be not only a highly qualified, but also a widely educated person, capable of actively participating in solving the social, economic and technical problems facing the country. The solution to the problem of increasing labor productivity in construction work was closely related to the availability of stable qualified personnel and effective management of labor resources in general.



Historical Experience of the Development of Physical Training and Sports in the Troops of the NKVD of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945)
Abstract
The article is devoted to one of the most important tasks of the state in war conditions - the preparation of the population for the defense of the Fatherland. Based on archival materials and documentary sources, the article reveals the historical experience of improving and developing physical training and sports in the troops of the NKVD of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War.



The Transformation of the Ideology of Siberian Renovationism in the Second Half of the 1920s and Its Main Factors
Abstract
The article examines the problem of the evolution of the ideology of Siberian Renovationism in the second half of the 1920s. The author relies on unpublished materials from the work of all-Siberian and regional Renovationist church institutions. The key features of the church reformist and political ideology of Siberian Renovationism by the mid-1920s are determined. The process of ideology transformation and the factors that influenced it are investigated. It is concluded that the transformation of the ideology of renovationism in Siberia in the second half of the 1920s occurred almost exclusively due to external factors.



The Institution of waqf in Russia on the Example of the District of the Orenburg Mohammedan Spiritual Assembly: Historical Aspects and Prospects for Revival
Abstract
During the 1990-2020s the question of reviving the institution of waqf by analogy with the prerevolutionary period is periodically raised in Russia. The purpose of the study is to compare the features of regulation and registration of waqfs in the 19th and early 20th centuries in the district of the Orenburg Mohammedan Spiritual Assembly with the current situation on the basis of archival materials. The author, analyzing historical examples of the functioning of waqfs, shows that a social institution cannot be implemented "from above" with the help of law alone, since its full existence requires the initiative of wealthy benefactors and a proper control system.



The Alawite Topic in Turkish Studies
Abstract
The historiography of Turkish studies on the topic of Arab Alawites/Nusayris is analyzed for the Republican period of Turkish history. Particular attention is paid to modern publications, which are distinguished by a more balanced and objective approach. The purpose of the article is to determine the typology and specificity of Turkish scientific literature about the Alawites. Materials and methods are determined by the task of studying Turkish historiography about the Alawite community and include works from subscription publications, foreign libraries, as well as a comparative historical research method. In accordance with the author's periodization, the distinctive aspects of scientific works on the stated topic at different stages of the development of the Turkish state were analyzed, the specifics were identified and the typology of approaches of Turkish authors to the topic was determined.

Institutionalization of Social Partnership between Civil Society and Military Organization of the State in Russian Federation
Abstract
This article discusses the issues of the emergence and development of expert interaction between civil society and the military organization of the state in Russian Federation giving the conditions of Special military operation. The purpose of the article is, using a structural and functional approach, to substantiate the expediency of implementing such interaction on the basis of institutionalization of social partnership. It is concluded that this social partnership, being institutionalized, would perform the instrumental function of ensuring the military security of the state and the social function of strengthening public order.

Based on the theoretical and practical analysis of the experience in implementing modern sampling methods, the article presents a systematic and updated understanding of classification principles, identifies and characterizes various types, categories, and specific sampling methods in sociological research.



Financial Culture as a New Quality of Participants in Financial Relations in Modern Russia
Abstract
The concept of "financial culture" appears more and more often in scientific literature and official
documents. The article attempts to summarize existing approaches to defining the concept of "financial culture" and its research. For this purpose, an analysis of both theoretical works and empirical studies in the field of this issue was carried out. The main result of this work is the substantiation of the need for a transition in modern Russia from financial education to the formation of a financial culture and a generalized set of possible indicators for a sociological study of the state of financial culture at different levels.

In the context of changes in school education in 20212024, the main socio-demographic characteristics, features of professional activity, social status and social role of a school teacher, as well as the main problems and challenges of his pedagogical activity are analyzed.



Translation Sociology: a New Branch of Sociological Science or a Promising Area of Research?
Abstract
Based on the analysis of E. Bielsa's book 'A Translational Sociology: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Politics and Society" (2023), the article attempts to find answers to the questions related to the correlation of the following notions: translation sociology and sociology of translation. It is concluded that in recent decades a considerable amount of literature on the problems of translation activity has appeared in the West, and that this problematic has become a separate interdisciplinary research area, claiming the status of branch sociology.
