Features of land use in the Ruzaevka territory of advanced socio-economic development
Аннотация
The article considers the basic concepts of the territory of advanced socio- economic development (TOSER) and the ways of its formation on the example of the TOSER "Ruzaevka" of the Republic of Mordovia (RM). The authors identify the features of land use, technology of land allocation for investment sites (IS) and the functioning of facilities on them. The study of the location of the borders and the use of IS was carried out on the basis of data from the Public Cadastral Map of the Russian Federation and satellite images of the Google Earth.


Comparison of geodetic measurement accuracy by levels with a cylindrical level and with a compensator
Аннотация
The article is devoted to the application of modern geodetic instruments for leveling works in construction and engineering geodesy. The accuracy indicators of levelers with the Н-2 and H-3 level and with the CST berger x-24 compensator in different working conditions are studied and presented. Their comparative analysis is carried out.

A case of combining heterogeneous information in a geoinformation system environment for the analysis of traffic accidents is described. The analysis was made and the causes of accidents in the city of Saransk were identified using the QGIS geographic information system and data on accidents in vector form.


Using 3D modeling in tourist map making
Аннотация
The map is the most convenient and familiar means for perceiving the surrounding world, clearly displaying the features of the terrain and its objects. The use of three-dimensional graphics technologies in cartography contributes to a significant increase in the degree of visibility and recognition of objects and, consequently, the formation of the user's most reliable perception of spatial geoinformation as a whole. The article discusses the possibilities of using three-dimensional visualization of space when making a panorama map of the central part of Saransk.




Mapping postal offices’ service areas

The services provided by post offices include delivery of letters and parcels to people. In this regard, it becomes relevant to study the service areas of post offices. As a result of the study, maps of services and additional functions of post offices in the territory of the city of Saransk and their service areas were created in accordance with regulatory indicators.


Geographical study of land resources using GIS technologies
Аннотация
The need for geographical research of land resources with the use of geoinformation systems (GIS) and technologies is determined. Principled approaches have been developed to identify ways of more efficient and full use of Mordovia's land resources, including the introduction and use of GIS and GIS technologies. The identified negative environmental consequences should be taken into account in order to optimize agricultural environmental management and to partly use and protect the agricultural potential of the territory.
