Abstract
The author considers the functions of POS-materials, their advantages and disadvantages, the specifics of their use as a type of promotional materials. The author focuses on the issues of POS-materials using on the regional market. Particularly, the study analyzes some effective and noneffective examples of their using. It also includes a number of recommendations on their effectiveness increase.
