Development of digital competencies of a teacher as a condition for improving the effectiveness of educational work with students in a modern university

the article discusses the problem of developing the digital competencies of teaching staff in higher education institutions as a key factor in improving the effectiveness of educational activities in the context of digital transformation of education. The purpose of this study is to substantiate the impact of the development of digital competencies of a teacher on improving the effectiveness of educational work with students in a modern university and to develop methodological recommendations for the development of these competencies. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set:: 1) conducting a theoretical analysis of scientific literature on the designated topic; 2) identifying the importance of digital competencies in the work of a teacher in a modern university; 3) formulating conclusions and recommendations of theoretical and practical importance for improving the system of educational work in a modern university. The author analyzes the essence and structure of a teacher's digital competencies, their importance for organizing educational work with a modern student. The necessity of mastering these competencies for the successful implementation of educational tasks is substantiated and their impact on the activities of deputy deans for educational work is investigated.
