Analysis of the age categories of Chinese children's TV channels and their content

Abstract

this study assesses the relevance and suitability of content on children's television channels in China to the needs of different age groups. The authors analyze the diversity of program content, focusing on complexity level, educational aspects, interactivity, and degree of independence of content for children of different ages. The research results identify similarities and differences in content for various age categories and determine the effectiveness of educational and entertainment programs on children's television channels. This contributes to the creation of more adapted and targeted content, meeting the needs of developing children and adolescents.
