Training of students for interaction between the cultures of the Russian Federation and the countries of the African continent

the article presents a retrospective excursion into the history of the development of the Russian-African dialogue. The main objective of the article was to consider the ways of developing this dialogue, the importance of which is confirmed in the article by statistical data characterizing the current state of the education system of African countries. The data presented in the article indicate an insufficiently high level of development of educational systems in Africa. They are not only ascertaining in nature, the authors outline promising areas of cooperation between Russia and the countries of the African continent, emphasizing its importance in the fields of higher education, scientific research, and the development of innovative branches of knowledge. In order to intensify the Russian-African dialogue in the educational sphere and increase its efficiency, the need to adapt not only African students, but also students of Russian universities to participate in it is emphasized. The article presents the experience of introducing information content related to the realities of life in the Republic of Mali into the process of teaching English at a pedagogical university. The implementation of the author's educational and methodological complex using innovative methods of teaching English is of interest to specialists and teachers engaged in intercultural interaction with African countries.
