Сomparative analysis based on lexicography (based on the materials of the Complete Church Slavonic Dictionary of Archpriest Grigory Dyachenko and the Large Dictionary of the Church Slavonic Language of Modern Times)

the relevance of the study of the comparison of lexical units within the framework of the Complete Church Slavonic Dictionary of Archpriest Grigory Dyachenko and the Large Dictionary of the Church Slavonic Language of Modern Times lies in the fact that it opens up new horizons for a deeper understanding and analysis of Church Slavonic vocabulary, its evolution and changes in the context of time. The Church Slavonic language is important for the historical and cultural heritage of the Slavic peoples, since it is not only a religious, but also a literary and scientific language. As a result, any attempt to compare and analyze dictionary materials related to different periods of its existence becomes an important tool for clarifying the meanings of words and phrases, as well as for identifying changes that have occurred over time. The purpose of this study is to conduct a lexicographic analysis based on the materials of the Complete Church Slavonic Dictionary of Archpriest Grigory Dyachenko and a Large Dictionary of the Church Slavonic language of modern Times. The paper presents a comparison of these dictionaries, as well as the problems of using lexicography. The study also provides an opportunity not only to clarify and expand lexicographic information, but also to question well-established ideas about the dynamics of the Church Slavonic language.
