Abstract
this article discusses modern methods and ways to optimize supply chains using digital technologies. In the context of globalization and the digitalization of the economy, supply chain management is becoming an increasingly complex task. The author analyzes the main problems and challenges faced by enterprises in the process of supply chain management, including insufficient visibility, difficulties in coordination among supply chain participants, and uncertainties arising from changes in supply and demand. Additionally, new trends are examined, such as process automation, the use of big data and analytics, as well as the implementation of blockchain and IoT technologies to enhance transparency. The complexities in coordination among supply chain participants, such as suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, further complicate the process, as these participants often act independently, making it difficult to align actions and make decisions. Uncertainties arising from fluctuations in supply and demand, caused by economic shifts, natural disasters, or political events, add an additional layer of complexity that is challenging to predict and account for. Blockchain technologies provide transparency and security for transactions, allowing supply chain participants to track the origin of goods and their movement in real time. Moreover, IoT devices collect data on the condition of goods and equipment, facilitating more accurate monitoring and management of processes. Practical recommendations are offered for leveraging digital technologies to enhance the efficiency and resilience of supply chains. The importance of integrating various systems and platforms that enable businesses to more effectively track and manage their resources is emphasized. Thus, the article provides valuable resources for executives and logistics professionals seeking to rethink their approaches to supply chain management in a rapidly changing business environment.
