The paper considers Internet-journalism as a product of computer technologies development. In this connection Internet-journalism is based on special means of publishing. There are various channels of relaying information on the Internet and the authors study the popular ones among journalists.


Origins of Tatar periodicals in Russia
Resumo
The author considers the fact that the Tatar population of Russia did not have any national printed periodical for a long time. Tatar intellectuals were soliciting for a permission to start a newspaper or a magazine on their national languages. But Russian authorities refused to grant the privilege. In this connection the author studies the golden age of Tatar journalism in Russia that took place over 1905-1917.


Specifics of ethnic culture presentation on newspaper pages

The paper presents an analysis of the specifics of ethnic culture presentation in regional periodicals. Particularly, the author studies the newspaper «Izvestia Mordovii». Thus the author believes that a newspaper that regularly covers ethnic, cultural, spiritual and historical topics on its pages improves the reader's general knowledge and moral background. The topics' coverage also makes the newspaper closer to its audience.


Mythological origins of information as journalism product

The paper studies information origins in the context of the myths of Ancient Greece and the ancient man worldview. Considering the ancient Greek mythology, the author traces back information development as a social activity product. Particularly, the study focuses on the phenomenon of protojournalism.

The paper considers political journalism as one of the most dynamic, ambitious and demanded journalism fields. Society management function of mass media enables the authorities to influence public opinion. Thus both government bodies and public regulate the function. The authors draw a conclusion that political journalism has an impact on all spheres of society. Consequently, a political journalist bears an immense social responsibility for his professional activities.

The paper considers journalist opinion and the ways of its realization. In this connection the authors analyze the main topical groups of «Novaya Gazeta» that include journalist opinions. Consequently, the study reveals six relevant topics with politics dominating.

For a long time professional photo story was a most popular genre of newspaper and magazine periodicals. The author believes that modern mass availability of photo and video equipment leveled its importance, replacing it with urgency and acuity of amateur shots. But the high-quality photo story is gradually returning to the pages of major periodicals and news agencies websites. Among the reportage photographers particularly noteworthy representative of humanistic photojournalism is Vladimir Vyatkin, a RIA «Novosti» photojournalist.

The paper considers the usage of archives by journalists in periodical press. Thus diversity is the peculiar feature of this kind of information source. The author proves the essays about the life and work of former political prisoners (scientists, writers, poets, journalists) to prevail the periodical press of Mordovia Republic.
