The article considers the main characteristics of booktrailers. The author makes an assessment of the potential of this innovative multimedia form in reading promotion. The features of creating booktrailers by libraries, publishers and book authors are studied. The technologies used in booktrailers and their expressive means are analyzed.

Meeting cultural and leisure needs of young people in satellite towns: case study of the town of Dzerzhinsk
Resumo
The author focuses on the issues of organizing and holding public events for young people in satellite towns. Considering the experience of the Culture Center of Dzerzhinsk, which is a satellite town of Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus, the author concludes that to meet the cultural and leisure needs of modern young people it is necessary to upgrade the resource base of the town’s culture centers and to develop the private sector of the market of cultural goods and services.
The "lost generation" literary character image in literary works of Ernest Hemingway

This article presents an analysis of the "lost generation" literary character in Hemingway’s works. The author considers the prerequisites for this type of literary character to appear in the XXth century literature. The specific features of the "lost generation" literary characters and their influence on the philosophy of existentialism are studied. The analysis is based on "The sun also rises" by E. Hemingway.
The problem of cultural heritage actualization

The article analyzes the phenomenon of cultural heritage actualization as a mechanism of transmission of cultural experience in modern society. The stages and main directions of the problem research background are reconstructed and the semantic dominant of each stage is presented as well. Special attention is given to the cultural approach.

The article considers culture and leisure centers, which use modern methods and ways of organizing leisure time for young people. In this connection the author presents an analysis of meeting the cultural and leisure needs of the youth by the State Institution of Culture "Nesvizh city youth center".

The article is devoted to the historiography of Mordvinian folk music. Particularly, three main stages in the study of Mordvinian folk singing are considered. A list of names of researchers who have made significant contributions to the development of Mordvinian folk music studies is presented.

The article presents an analysis of the role of rhythm in dancing in the context of works by A. Levinson. The author focuses on the nature of the rhythm and its role in folk dancing. As a result, the study formulates the main aesthetic ideas of the critic.
