"Vanechka" by E. Chetvergov as a novel of education: specificity of the plot model
Resumo
The article considers the novel "Vanechka" by E. Chetvergov in the context of traditions of the novel of education. A conclusion is made that the genre categories of the education novel are transformed in the novel due to the writer’s intention and specificity of the plot construction of the literary text.

The article deals with the syntactic features of the poetry of the Erzya poet Alexander Arapov. The authors focus on some types of sentences and elements of syntactic constructions such as comparisons, repetitions, addresses and rhetorical questions.




Structural-semantic characteristics of adverbs of image and of mode of action in Russian dialects of Mordovia
Resumo
This article describes the adverbs of the image and of the mode of action functioning in the Russian dialects of Mordovia. They are divided into separate semantic groups forming paradigmatic relations. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the phenomenon of synonymy of the dialect adverbs of the image and of the mode of action represented in each group.

The article studies the characters’ names and their potential to convey the message of the novel. The functional-semantic analysis shows that the names of the characters are used in the novel as a literary device which helps to express the main idea of the text.

The article analyzes the death motive in the poetry of Boris Ryzhy based on his verse collection "Kind of Song". The study reveals the specifics of expressive means and the features of pathos of the verses under consideration. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the author’s poetic language.

The article considers the plot-forming function of the landscape in the novel "The Geography Teacher Drank Away his Globe" by A. V. Ivanov. It is proved that the features of the landscape in the literary works of A. V. Ivanov are energy, philosophy, power, expressed in the ability to fill all the artistic space.


Joe Wright’s closed curtain in the screen version of the novel "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoy

The article analyzes the drama film directed by Joe Wright and based on the novel "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoy. The film presents an alternative reading of the classical Russian novel. The differences between the film production and the literary original are considered. The opinions of critics and the general reasoned assessment of the director's experiment are given.


The use of missed associations technique in the story «the catcher of people» by E. I. Zamyatin
Resumo
The article considers the literary technique of missed associations and its potenatial for better understanding of the story message through the cooperation of the author and the reader. The analysis of the story of E. I. Zamyatin shows that the use of the literary technique of missed associations contributes to the expression of the text idea through completion by the reader of the thought deliberately missed by the author.
