Transformation of meanings: fiction and non-fiction in the novel "The Outpost" by S. Dovlatov
Resumo
The article presents a comparative analysis of two works by the Russian writer S. Dovlatov: the essay "Literature Goes On" (1982) and the novel "The Outpost" (1988). A conclusion is made about autobiographical nature of the novel due to the author's intertext verbalized by means of citations and utterances first used in the essay.


Semantic functions of phraseological units in Russian folk and literary tales
Resumo
The article deals with the semantic functions of phraseological units in Russian folk and literary tales, considering their role in the formation of the speech genre. An attempt is made to study phraseological units from the standpoint of cognitive-pragmatic approach. This helps to better understand the essence of phraseological units as a unity of their linguistic, cognitive and pragmatic aspects.


Types of cliches in Russian media discourse
Resumo
The article studies the language means of standardization used in the Russian media. The authors make an attempt to find out the reasons of the use of clichés in the newspaper language and announcer speech. The semantics of the linguistic facts is considered in detail. The practical material shows that the use of clichés and speech stamps is not always justified. At the same time, the use of clichés and speech stamps is a positive development as they save media space.




Semantic uniguness of dialect name of the sphere of wedding ritual (on the material of the Russian language)
Resumo
The article describes the paradigmatic connections of the names that constitute wedding vocabulary of the Russian dialects of Mordovia. The synonymic, homonymous, polysemic relations within the thematic group under consideration are described. The general specificity of the paradigmatic connections of the dialect wedding vocabulary in comparison with the literary language is revealed.


On the specificity of virtual journalistic discourse in the aspect of linguoecology: a study of Russian longreads
Resumo
The article provides a definition of longread as a special genre of virtual journalism and presents an analysis of longreads within the framework of the “language – discourse” model. Special attention is paid to cohesion and coherence, which absence constitutes a linguoecological threat to virtual journalistic discourse. The role of interdiscourse in terms of its linguoecological friendliness in the discursive space of longreads is considered.


Lexico-semantic ties of Russian dialect adjectives describing physical appearance

The article studies the paradigmatic connections of adjectives that describe physical appearance of a person in the Russian dialects of Mordovia. The synonymic, antonymic, homonymous, polysemic relations within the framework of the lexico-semantic group are described. The general specificity of the paradigmatic connections of the dialect adjectives in comparison with the literary language is revealed.

Resumo
The article deals with the problem-thematic features and genre specifics the book of poems "Sonnets on shirts" by G. Sapgir. As a result of the study, it is concluded that the book of poems is a major genre form that allows to present the poet's worldview as a system, to convey the scale of his view of many modern realities.


Motive of secret in literary works of N. M. Karamzin and N. S. Gumilev
Resumo
The article presents a comparative analysis of the literary works of N. M. Karamzin ("Island of Borngolm", "Sierra-Morena") and N. S. Gumilev ("Cain's Daughters", "Fateful Death", "Stradivarius's Violin", "Black Dick") in terms of identification of their common preromantic motive – the motive of secret. It is proved that Gumilev's literary apprenticeship (1905–1911), being in the mainstream of the Symbolist tradition, actually shows a tendency to use the global cultural images and plots, including the appeal to the Russian preromantic tradition, which are typical for the Russian Acmeist poets.
