Street names of pre-revolutionary Temnikov
Abstract
The authors consider the toponymic features of streets in pre-revolutionary Temnikov as the oldest city of the Republic of Mordovia. The article emphasizes the fact that many names of the city old streets haven not been preserved and are rarely mentioned. However, the historical toponymy plays an important role in attracting tourists and improving image of the city of Temnikov.
