Development of arid-denudation and bay type coasts in the Aral Sea
Abstract
The article presents a morphological analysis of the Aral Sea coasts, which allows us to see how well geographical zonality manifests itself in their character. Subtypes of arid- denudation and bay type coasts are considered. The reasons for the formation of some forms of relief of arid territories have been identified.
Transport system: approaches to study and transport-geographical zoning
Abstract
The article discusses approaches to the structural and functional analysis of the transport system and transport-geographical zoning. The transport system is understood as a multi- level complex that integrates all components of the organization of effective transportation of people and goods. Assessment by Saransk City residents of living environment quality: a territorial analysis
Abstract
The article presents the results of a subjective assessment by residents of the city of Saransk of the quality of the geographical environment of the city. The analysis of the main economic, geographical, socio-geographical and geo-ecological problems of the city from the point of view of the respondents was carried out. Subjective factors of concern and factors of social well- being are revealed. The analysis of the subjective convenience of spatial infrastructure in a cross- section of city districts is carried out.
Territorial Differentiation of social and economic development of rural areas of the republic of Mordovia
Abstract
The article is devoted to identifying territorial differences in the development of the socio-economic potential of municipal districts of the Republic of Mordovia. An analysis of a number of socio-economic indicators characterizing this potential was carried out. As a result, promising territories of the region were identified.
Methodological issues of forming a conceptual portrait of forest geosystems based on non-binary logical models
Abstract
The article is devoted to the experience of building conceptual models of complex industrial geosystems based on non-binary logic. The conceptual logical construction of the most significant objects of discourse for the category of forest geosystem is considered: a review of the hierarchical relationships of geosystems is made, approaches to the identification of factors of forest formation are compared, and the essence of border forest geosystems is analyzed. The processes of public and natural space of forest geosystems are considered in detail and ways of their logical unification in a conceptual model are suggested.
Assessment of the land use structure of the Ardatov municipality based on the ecological and economic balance
Abstract
The article assesses the land use structure of the Ardatov district in order to identify the degree of anthropogenic impact on the environment of the municipality. The assessment was carried out based on the theories of ecological and economic balance by B. I. Kochurov and harmonious development of geoecosystems by B. B. Rodoman.
Geography of noise impact of railway transport in the city of Saransk
Abstract
This article considers the noise impact of rail transport on the residential area of the city of Saransk. A study was conducted, during which noise levels were measured at designated points. The measurement results were analyzed and compared with the national hygienic standards. Some recommendations were proposed to reduce the elevated noise levels.
Crime rate in the regions of Russia
Abstract
The article analyzes the level of registered crimes in the regions of the Russian Federation. The factors that determine the development of crime are considered. A comparative analysis of the crime rate and the quality of life of the population is carried out. The types of Russian regions by the number of registered crimes are categorized.
Geographical features of transport functioning in Torbeevsky district of the Republic of Mordovia
Abstract
The article considers the transport system of Torbeevsky district of the Republic of Mordovia. The possibilities and potential of transport of the district in organization of economic activity, transportation of goods, directions of passenger transportation by automobile and railway transport are studied. As a result, the problems in the transport industry of the district are identified.
