The main manifestations and consequences of environmental pollution in the open-pit mining of mineral deposits are considered. The features of negative impacts during the development of deposits in the Orenburg region are studied, namely the Tyulgan brown coal deposit, copper ore of the Eastern Orenburg region and Kiembay asbestos.

Abstract
This article examines the current market of energy in Russia and the distribution of powers between its subjects. The volume of production and consumption of energy by every region of the district is considered. The reasons for energy deficiency of the federal district are indicated. Measures of efficiency and stability in the operation of energy systems, including the dependence of energy efficiency on incoming investments in the federal district, are considered.
