On the issue of modern information and communication technologies effective use in teaching foreign languages

the article focuses on the issue of the effective application of information and communication technologies as innovative methods in teaching foreign languages in the context of digitalization. The relevance of the research is determined by the growing possibility of using modern information and communication technologies to solve the tasks set in the educational process. The author considers the use of information and communication technologies justified didactically with higher frequency and at a qualitatively different level, as it allows filling the foreign language learning process with interesting content, to implement an integrated approach in language training through a variety of topics and methodological techniques. This research presents an author's set of interactive exercises utilizing online services, revealing opportunities for the formation of students' lexical skills, which contributes to further motivation in learning a foreign language.
