Abstract

the problem of exporting domestic education is becoming more relevant due to the growing complexity and ambiguity of the position of the Russian language and Russian-language education abroad, including the post-Soviet space. This necessitates studying the ways to increase the efficiency of external transfer of education by Russian educational institutions. The purpose of the study is to analyze the possibilities of using the potential of cross-border cooperation in the post-Soviet space to promote education in Russian. The methodological framework of the study is based on the analysis of the key principles of modern cross-border education. These principles form the substantive context within which the experience of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University in building cross-border interaction with educational institutions of Turkmenistan is revealed. It is emphasized that, although the current state of cross-border education in the world represents a wide range of complex processes, the Russian approach to the export of educational programs and technologies in the post-Soviet space is always associated with the practice of equal partnership, cross-border cooperation with countries, their educational authorities and educational institutions. The experience of NSPU is based on the use of the possibilities of combining distance and face-to-face work formats for the transfer to Turkmen educational institutions of scientific and educational-methodological developments in the field of advanced training, mentoring of young teachers at school, as well as Russian language and literature. The study revealed that the cross-border cooperation format is optimal for the following purposes: effective integration of the scientific and methodological potential of Russian higher education into the system of additional professional education of Turkmenistan; export to this post-Soviet republic of the project developed at NSPU on the form of mentoring "Teacher – Teacher"; improving the level of study of the Russian language and literature by Turkmen students through open lectures in distance mode.
