Abstract

this scientific article analyzes the role of the teacher in the formation of political culture from pedagogical, psychological and social points of view. Teachers are not only teachers of subjects, but also social models that play an important role in the formation of the personality of students, their social relations and political consciousness. The article examines the theoretical aspects of political culture, the function of the teacher as a social model in the school environment, his role in the transmission of political values, and also conducts an analysis based on international experience. Particular attention is paid to the importance of the components of political consciousness in the training of teachers and practical recommendations for the future are put forward. It is especially noted that political culture is a complex social phenomenon that encompasses the position of the individual in the political life of society, his attitude to the political system, participation in decision-making and the unity of values, beliefs, attitudes and forms of behavior formed in this area. On the one hand, political culture ensures the continuity and stability of the political structure of society, and on the other hand, it creates the basis for active and responsible participation of the individual in democratic processes.
