Abstract
modern students live in a world characterized by a high degree of interconnectedness, cultural diversity and constant change. These conditions create the need to update educational programs so that they meet the challenges of a global society. Expanding the export of educational services requires program developers to pay special attention to the development of intercultural ties and the formation of global competencies (GC) in students, which are becoming an integral part of professional training. GC include not only knowledge and skills, but also the ability to adapt, critical thinking, tolerance and respect for cultural differences. An important aspect is the issue of methods and approaches to assessing the formation of GC, which requires detailed study. This problem is especially relevant for universities that operate in regions with high ethnocultural diversity. This work is aimed at analyzing existing methods for measuring GC, discussing their effectiveness and identifying key aspects that require improvement. Particular attention is paid to assessment tools, such as questionnaires and questionnaires, as well as analysis methods that take into account individual and collective characteristics of students. The practical significance of the study lies in the development of recommendations for improving the accuracy of measuring GC and adapting educational programs to modern requirements. The results of the work can be useful for teachers involved in developing courses, as well as for universities seeking to strengthen their positions in the context of international competition. The presented findings enrich the methodological base of GC research and contribute to the creation of effective strategies for the formation of these competencies in students.
