Abstract
in modern legal education, English language proficiency is essential for working with international legal sources and English-language documents. Despite the widespread use of traditional teaching methods, they often do not allow students to develop the necessary practical competencies. The purpose of the study is to analyze the possibilities of digital resources and online platforms in teaching English to law students and to develop recommendations for their effective integration. Materials and methods. The work used domestic and foreign publications on the methodology of teaching English to law students, as well as digital resources: Coursera, Stepik, LinguaLeo, Duolingo, Open Education, ConsultantPlus and Garant legal reference systems. Methods of comparative analysis, systematization and classification of information, as well as analysis of scientific literature were used. Results and discussion. The analysis showed that the use of digital resources and online platforms significantly increases the effectiveness of professional English language teaching in the field of jurisprudence. They contribute to the development of all key language competencies - reading, writing, speaking and translating specialized texts. The use of gamification, online debates, trial modeling, and interactive exercises ensures active student engagement and helps consolidate professional vocabulary. The use of automated text verification services and legal reference systems (ConsultantPlus, Garant) allows students to work with authentic legal materials, increasing the accuracy and quality of document analysis. The development of digital literacy and critical evaluation of the results of work with AI tools strengthens students' professional responsibility and builds independent information analysis skills, which is key to successful international legal practice. Conclusions. The integration of digital resources into the process of teaching English to law students contributes to the comprehensive development of language and professional skills of students, increases their competitiveness and prepares them to work with English-language legal documents.
