Representation of blood kinship in English and Kumyk phraseological units

this article explores the representation of blood kinship in English and Kumyk linguocultures based on the material of phraseological units. The main objective of the work is to identify the linguocultural features of phraseological units that verbalize femininity in English and Russian cultures. The relevance of the study is due to the need to study and compare the phraseological representation of kinship relations in English and Kumyk languages. This will reveal the universal and unique features of the phraseological objectification of blood relations in the English and Kumyk linguistic cultures. The study analyzed 400 phraseological units in English and Kumyk, selected using a continuous sampling method from phraseological dictionaries. For the first time, a comparative analysis of English and Kumyk phraseological units showed that the mother is the center of the family in both cultures.
