Abstract
The present article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the pseudo-epic work "Silmarillion" by J. R. R. Tolkien and four variants of its translation into Russian. The article examines the stylistic techniques used by translators to convey the lexical and rhythmic features of the author's work and compares them with the methods used by the author of the original.
