Abstract
Multilingualism and polycode are important requirements of literature. The article reviewed the gradual evolution of the term and different approaches to it. The concepts of globalization and transculture are investigated, their interaction and opposition. Various texts by Vladimir Vertlib and Yulia Rabinowich are interpreted as hybrid and polycode.
