Artistic features of modern Russian prose: problems of style and language

modern Russian prose demonstrates a variety of artistic forms, linguistic solutions and stylistic approaches that reflect the continuous development of Russian literature at the turn of the XX–XXI centuries. In the context of a postmodern rethinking of the traditions of Russian classics and active interaction with Western literary trends, the authors turn to new ways of expressing social and individual experience, experimenting with form, composition and lexical means. The article is devoted to the analysis of the main problems of style and language in the works of modern Russian-speaking writers. Based on a comprehensive study, the key features of the formation of the artistic space are identified, as well as the language and stylistic techniques underlying the artistic expression of the modern text. The work is aimed at identifying literary trends related to the use of new vocabulary, the transformation of genre forms, the use of metaphors and other tropes, as well as assessing the degree of influence of current socio-cultural processes on the language and style of modern Russian prose.
