Abstract
In the modern world, the role and status of higher education is gradually changing, especially from the point of view of young people. The formation of new value orientations, the emergence of new needs in accordance with changing social conditions contributed to the growth of youth interest in the phenomenon of further education. Secondary data analysis allowed us to consider the current state of these social institutions.
