Взаимосвязь между степенью развития навыков говорения в родном и иностранном языках у студентов вузов

Аннотация
Цель. Хотя существующие исследования показывают, что процессы овладения родным и иностранным языком взаимосвязаны, исследования, сравнивающие уровни владения навыками разговорной речи на родном и иностранном языках у взрослых учащихся, представлены ограниченно. Целью данного исследования - изучить взаимосвязь между уровнем развития разговорных компетенций на английском языке как иностранном и чешском языке как родном у студентов университетов.
Методы. В рамках межгруппового дизайна для сравнения двух групп из пятидесяти студентов университетов с разными уровнями владения английским языком, обе группы были протестированы на выявление их уровня владения чешским языком. Каждый тест оценивался по аналитической рейтинговой шкале, в которой учитывались четыре навыка разговорной речи: точность, речь, содержание и паралингвистика. Оценки были проанализированы с использованием F-теста на равенство дисперсий и Т-теста на различия между средними значениями.
Результаты. Полученные результаты показали, что группа с более низким уровнем владения английским языком получила значительно более низкие баллы за навыки говорения и на чешском языке, чем группа с более высоким уровнем владения английским языком.
Выводы. Исследование предлагает еще одно эмпирическое свидетельство в поддержку теорий, утверждающих, что компетенции, приобретенные на родном языке, мигрируют между иностранными языками, и указывает на важность развития компетенций на родном языке в отношении последующего владения иностранным языком.
