Application of GIS Technology for Forecasting of Flooding Area at a Multi-Level Rise of Floodwaters
摘要
The article presents the results of using the predictive model of underflooding and flooding of the territory of the Voroniy Ostrov tract in the suburban area of the city of Petropavlovsk in North Kazakhstan region with different levels of floodwaters. The study is carried out with the use of GIS Sputnik.

The article presents the results of determining the potential of geoinformation cartography of the quality of water springs of the Atyashevsky district of the Republic of Mordovia. A series of geoinformation and cartographic materials has been created, designed to draw the attention of the general public to the problem of mismanagement of water sources.

The article shows the use of GIS technologies in studying the early history of the Cossacks in the Republic of Mordovia. As a result, the following maps were built: fortifications on the territory of the modern Republic of Mordovia in the XVII century; fortifications on the territory of the Russian state in the XVI–XVII centuries; territories covered by the uprisings led by S. Razin and E. Pugachev.


Compilation of Tourist Maps of the Territory of the Teberdinsky Nature Reserve

This article considers the ways of development of mountain tourism in Russia. The study focuses on the making and designing of maps of hiking trails for individual Russian regions. The authors make a tourist map of the territory of the Teberdinsky nature reserve, which includes information about the location of ecological routes, road network, settlements.


Method of Preparing Materials for Mapping Settlement Density
摘要
The article presents the method of preparing initial cartographic and statistical data for geoinformation mapping the settlement density of the Republic of Mordovia. A study of this territory was carried out for the first time. Consequently, the study results were used to develop the methods of automatic and semi-automatic calculation of the potential of the settlement density.


Discovering Errors of Topographic Maps in the Research Expedition to East Mordovia

The article presents the results of an analysis of topographic maps of the territory of East Mordovia (Kochkurovsky and Bolshebereznikovsky municipal districts) and their comparison with satellite images. The study was carried out during the research expedition of the Youth Club of the Department of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Mordovia.


The Development of a Land Information System of Leased Land Plots for Oil Production Facilities
摘要
In order to create an electronic graphical database of land plots by means of MapBasic on the basis of the MapInfo software complex, a land information system has been developed. The difficulties encountered during the work on the system filling and analysis are described.
