Resumo
This article presents an analysis of the "lost generation" literary character in Hemingway’s works. The author considers the prerequisites for this type of literary character to appear in the XXth century literature. The specific features of the "lost generation" literary characters and their influence on the philosophy of existentialism are studied. The analysis is based on "The sun also rises" by E. Hemingway.
