Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the artistic originality of B. Ryzhy's poetry. The study focuses the main motifs and images of a modern Russian poet. An analysis of the poetic language reveals the specifics of expressive means used by the poet in question.

Types of verb aspect usage in advertising texts
Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the verbal forms of perfective and imperfective aspects in relations with each other, the context, and the sentence structure. Particularly, the study focuses on special verb aspect values typical of advertising texts. Considering the additional semantic criteria, the authors determine the main types of concrete-factual and concrete-processual values.

The article considers the image of road in the novel "Reed Buntings" by Denis Osokin On the one hand, the road is interpreted as the direction following which the heroes will reach their destination. On the other hand, the road is interpreted as the historical path selected by the Merya people to return to the present.

"I"-subject in the formation of utterances with conjunction / parcelling
Abstract
The article considers some elements of the sentence semantic organization in terms of their functioning in conjunctive / parcelling structures. The study shows that dictum and modus information in different elements of conjunctive structure are realized separately. The authors explain the conjunctive structure occurrence by penetration of the modus subject in the dictum area.

Author's metaphor in the novel "Mashenka" by V. Nabokov
Abstract
The article presents the results of a structural-semantic analysis of author's individual metaphors in the novel "Mashenka" by V. Nabokov. Grammatically, the metaphors in question are binomial combinations of verbs and adjectives with nouns. A quantitative and qualitative analysis of the semantic types of metaphors shows V. Nabokov's attempt to enliven and humanize animate and inanimate things, objects and natural phenomena.
