Thunderstorm rites of the Mordva (based on the fieldwork data collected in Mordovskie Parki villiage of Krasnoslobodsky district of the Republic of Mordovia)
Abstract
The article describes the views of the Mordva about the god of thunder. The authors study the rites performed during the thunderstorm aimed at arranging a compromise between the man and the forces of nature. Studying of the thunderstorm rites contributes to the knowledge of superstitions, traditions and culture of the Mordva.


Specifics of historical and biographical discourse of the novel "Rumyantsev-Zadunaisky" by M. Petrov
Abstract
The article focuses on the structural and content components of the novel "Rumyantsev-Zadunaisky" by M. Petrov. According to the genre and style characteristics, the novel is defined as a historical and biographical narrative. The author objectively considers its place in the Mordovian literary and historical discourse.




The structure of proverbs in the Erzya language
Abstract
The article considers the Erzya proverbs. It has been noted that proverbs are language signs with their form and semantics. In a concise form proverbs express the gist of the statement and intensify the expressiveness of the speech. Generalized-personal sentences are used to make proverbs. The function of the sentences is a figurative expression of common statements.


Specifics of representation of inyazor image in the novel "Purgaz" by K. G. Abramov
Abstract
The article presents an analysis of historical documents referring to the origin of Purgazov’s Rus. The author studies their impact on the creation of literary works about inyazor. The article includes the author’s interpretations of Purgaz image based on an analysis of the literary text of K. G. Abramov, the classic of Mordovian literature.


Correlation of personality and nature as the basis of literary psychologism of the historical narrative in Mordovian literature
Abstract
The article considers some examples of author’s rendering of nature in the historical narrative of Mordovian writers. The functional aspect of nature representation is author’s individual. The statement is illustrated with specific examples from corresponding literary works.

The article presents an analysis of the types of one-member sentences in the Hungarian language. A review of the research background of the sentences in question is provided. The fairy tales by Elek Benedek are used as the practical material of the study.


Perception features of the naming units of the Erzya language
Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the naming units of the Erzya language formed as a result of the direct perception of reality. The semasiological approach is applied to consider the four groups of the naming units as the most frequently used in the language in question.


Phraseological units with somatism "pää"/ "head" in Finnish and Russian languages: a comparative analysis
Abstract
The article presents a comparative analysis of phraseological units with the somatic component "pää"/ "head" in the Finnish and Russian languages from the point of view of the adequacy of translation equivalents. The method of component analysis is used, which is based on the sameness and otherness of the semantic structure of phraseological meaning.
