Defining intelligence coefficient of automatic library information systems
Abstract
The article considers automatic library information systems (ALIS) as objects of application of artificial intelligence. The author presents a technique for assessing the intelligence of ALIS based on the questionnaire for library staff working with the system. The results of the technique testing are presented in a mini-research carried out in the Research Library of Mordovia State University.


Missed associations technique in photographs by Cindy Sherman
Abstract
The study shows the use of the technique of missed associations for an analysis of staged photographs by Cindy Sherman. The article provides a description of the techniques that create missed associations (introduction of a specific image in the gallery of images, synthetic influx, features of the image method, grotesque, symbolic contrast, repetitions).


The influence of freudism and neofreudism on modern mass culture
Abstract
The article describes the key points of formation and transformation of the teachings of Sigmund Freud. Characteristics of the ways of implementation of neofreudism social elements are considered. The study shows that every taboo unconscious desire is reflected in reality in some way. Special attention is paid to the emotional implementation of the elements of consciousness in the context of mass culture.

The article assesses the role of electronic bibliographic resources in carrying out various kinds of bibliometric studies. The authors show the potential of local library catalogues and databases for regional science monitoring. The results of a student bibliometric mini-study, based on the resources of the Scientific Library of Mordovia State University, are presented.
