Abstract
The paper studies the income difference of the population as one of the most significant of an indicator of a standard of living of the population is considered. The analysis of dynamics and differentiation of a salary of the population of the Republic of Mordovia by results of the selective inspection which has been carried out by Territorial body of the government statistics on the Republic of Mordovia is submitted.
