Abstract
The authors assess the severity of brain damage in patients with obstructive jaundice by tests and laboratory parameters of different age groups. The study focuses on the compensation abilities of brain after biliary decompression by papillosphincterotomy, overlay holedohoduodenoanastomoza, choledochotomy. Considering the study results, the article presents a comparative characteristic of these types of surgical treatment.
