Abstract

a person has a remarkable ability that underlies all cognitive tasks and processes; this is the ability to think. Thinking has always played a significant role in human practical activity. At the same time, the enormous social transformations taking place in our country, rapid scientific and technological progress make ever higher demands on the training and upbringing of each person, on his education and self-education, in general, on his mental development. The thinking of a specific person is characterized by individual characteristics. These characteristics in different people are manifested, first of all, in the fact that they have different relationships between complementary types and forms of mental activity. Logical thinking is carried out through speculative logical connections of specific objects, processes and phenomena with sounds, with linguistic sounds, with words and phrases, with concepts expressed in language in the form of words and signs, and denoting these objects and objects. In the course of our research we examined the problem-based learning technology, which is an effective method for stimulating students' interest in the subject and developing logical thinking in extracurricular activities. It is shown that the methods of problem-based learning technology are effective and contribute to the development of students' logical thinking in extracurricular physics classes, i.e. the development of logical thinking using problem-based learning will expand students' knowledge in the field of physics, help in solving problems in the future, forming a comprehensively developed personality.
