Formation of environmental literacy of foreign students from Turkmenistan in the process of pedagogical education (profile "Biology and Chemistry")

the article considers the current problem of formation of environmental literacy of foreign students from Turkmenistan studying in the direction of pedagogical education with the profile "Biology and Chemistry". The author analyzed the theoretical foundations of environmental education, the specifics of the educational system of Turkmenistan, and the peculiarities of adaptation of foreign students to the Russian educational environment. The study is aimed at identifying the key factors influencing the effectiveness of the formation of environmental competencies in this category of students. The pedagogical conditions contributing to the successful acquisition of environmental knowledge and the formation of professional competencies of future teachers of biology and chemistry are considered. Particular attention is paid to cultural and educational differences and their influence on the process of environmental education. The results of the study can be used to improve educational programs and methodological approaches in working with foreign students.
