Abstract
emergencies include natural disasters, military conflicts, and mass gatherings of people. They create significant pressures on healthcare due to a possible increase in demand for medical services. Pharmacy workers play a key role in the healthcare system by providing access to essential medicines. Disruption of drug supplies can delay medical care and worsen treatment outcomes. To find solutions for pharmaceutical care for the population in emergency situations, a keyword search was conducted for published articles in Russian and foreign databases. The key step is to prepare standards and train employees to act in emergency situations. To solve logistical problems and improve transport accessibility in pharmaceutical provision, it is necessary to create a single database for public and private pharmacies integrated with EMIAS for timely deliveries to medical institutions and the introduction of mobile pharmacies. In order to provide medicines to the population, it is necessary to limit the uncontrolled purchase of medicines during an emergency, develop a system of distribution points with a supply of medicines for emergency situations and clearly define the criteria for the emergency use of accelerated approved drugs.
