Abstract
The article describes the basic prerequisites for the formation of modern image of Russia in China. Considering the general problem of constructing the image of Russia in the development of information media space, the author expands on the features of the media as an instrument of soft power influence on the formation of the country's image as an example of relations between Russia and China.
