In March 2015 “Tambov University Review. Series: Philology and Culturology” was separated into an independent periodical from the journal “Tambov University Review. Series: Humanities”.

With issue No. 3 of 2017, the scientific and theoretical journal on philological sciences and cultural studies received a new name “Neophilology”.
